1-room apartment with mountain view on the ski slope with WiFi, Netflix, Prime

This cozy vacation rental in Gschwend, a neighborhood of Balderschwang, offers breathtaking mountain views that let you forget the stresses of everyday life. The apartment features a kitchenette with a refrigerator and an electric stove. Cooking utensils, dishes, a drip coffee maker, a tea kettle, a toaster, and a microwave are provided.
There are two laundry rooms with a washer and dryer that are available for use.
Bed linens, hand towels, and bath towels are not included in the price and must be brought along.
A table tennis room is also available.
The sauna can be booked daily with the caretaker for private use. Two hours for two people costs 10 euros. The caretaker’s office hours are Monday through Friday from 8–9 a.m. and 1–2 p.m.
Please note that a visitor’s tax of 2 euros per person per night must be paid separately to the municipality of Balderschwang.
The apartment building where the apartment is located sits at an elevation of 1,044 meters above sea level. The ski slope is right nearby. From the ski storage room, you can ski or snowboard directly to the nearest lift or join the cross-country ski trail.
In the summer, there are plenty of hiking and biking trails of all difficulty levels that start right from the apartment building. A lovely family hike with many interesting stops, such as a petting zoo, a deer enclosure, and a forest wellness area, also begins right nearby.
The Austrian border is 2.5 km away. Oberstdorf is a 15-minute drive away. Lake Constance and the large Alpsee, both with swimming beaches, are 38 km away. The outdoor pool in Hittisau can be used free of charge upon presentation of your guest cards.
Several grocery vending machines stocked with regional delicacies are about a 10-minute walk away. Supermarkets are located in neighboring Hittisau, Austria (12 km away) or in Fischen (16 km away).
There are several restaurants and hotels within walking distance that offer excellent regional cuisine and are highly recommended if you don’t feel like cooking.
The bus stop is located right in front of the house. The bus line takes you to Oberstdorf, Fischen, Obermeiselstein, as well as Bregenz and Hittisau in Austria.
