Come and make lasting family memories at "West Watch." This four-bedroom, three-bath home was completely renovated in 2018 and features beautiful decor throughout.

The ocean and sunset views are truly one of a kind. You can enjoy the coastal breezes on the two screened porches or soak up the sun on the open deck. The open floor plan is ideal for family gatherings or couples seeking a getaway. The well-appointed kitchen includes a large marble island with bar seating and a Keurig coffee maker.

The home is furnished with a focus on modern comfort. Each bedroom is equipped with comfortable bedding, a TV, and an oscillating wall fan. The layout includes two master suites with king-sized beds upstairs. Downstairs, there is a third king bedroom and a bunk room featuring two twin and two double beds; these two rooms share a full bathroom.

Amenities include two golf carts (one 4-passenger and one 6-passenger), charcoal grill and plenty of beach gear.

Nothing has been overlooked at West Watch, and we look forward to hosting you.

Can’t wait to go back!

3 rooms with king size beds and 3 bathrooms plus a kids room is a rare find! Close to the beach with golf cart accessibility/walkable, close to the club, and close to the ferry with amazing views is hard to beat! This place was perfect for us, updated and had everything we needed! You can’t beat this location for the price!

First Time

This was a first VRBO rental and a first visit to Bald Head Island. Enjoyed the house very much. Loved the built-in Pet kennel. Nice layout and very comfortable. Had to reschedule due to hurricane and death in the family. Doing so was painless. Will do it again.

Bald Head Late Fall Visit

We really enjoyed the location, views and layout of the home. Great weekend. Played golf two days, enjoyed the club, walked on the beach, cooked in one night, ate out the others. Coffee at Jail House sitting in the sun on their porch. We love Bald Head! My only suggestion is to provide a flash light to better see at dark how to navigate the stairs. (it was dark so early this trip) Also lighter to light charcoal grill out of juice. need a new one! We will return!

The house was very comfortable for our entire family of 8 and 2 dogs. The dog station was wonderful! We were disappointed that the grill was unusable. The house was a quick walk/ride to the beach and the front window view was spectacular. We enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful Sunset Views

The property has great views of the sunset and even better views if you make the short walk to the beach. The kitchen is beautiful with all the appliances you need. The outdoor shower and dog wash made getting sand off after the beach really easy. We ran into a few maintenance issues but the property management is very nice and prompt in responding to any communication. One aspect of this house that we loved was that there were three bedrooms with king beds so all three couples could sleep in peace and no one had to compromise on space. The lower bedroom easily fit a rental crib and the kids room with bunk beds was fun for our eldest. It was a great space for our family with really little kids (2 and 5).

This little house was beautiful with great views! It was perfect for a relaxing weekend.

Very easy to rent. We had pretty much everything we needed. The screen was torn on the porch so we couldn’t leave the door open in the evening without letting bugs in. And we had some issues with Internet connection on the TV. But other than that it was a great weekend!

Great stay on BHI!

Just back from wonderful, extended family vacation on Bald Head Island. West Watch is a very clean, well-laid out property - four bedrooms on two floors, including two with ensuite bathrooms. Super location between and near both the marina and the Bald Head Island club. Easy check-in and great communication with the property manager. Highly recommend!

A Little Slice of Heaven

Bald Head Island is one of my favorite places in the entire world and my family and I together with friends have rented houses there over the past five years, but far and away West Watch was the perfect beach house!! The thoughtful open plan living/dining/kitchen area with high ceilings in calming blues and tans is wonderful. The views of the ocean and especially the sunset were peaceful and just what you want from a stay at the beach. The rooms are not overdone, classic and simple, and the large bunch room was awesome for the five boys ages 12-15! The side porches were perfect, no front porch needed, one was great for shade and eating, the other for sunbathing and reading. My kids said they wanted to buy the house they loved it so much and we will definitely be renting it again!

Absolutely love this beach house!

West Watch was an amazing beach house on Bald Head Island! We would frequent here again! The house is in a great location on the island with a beach access right across the street. The convenience that the house comes with 2 golf carts was great. The house has awesome big windows that you can see the beach from the living room/kitchen. The layout of the house is great too, with two master bedrooms upstairs, and then the two bedrooms downstairs. We had 6 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was clean and great updates features. Will definitely be here again!!!

Spring break with family

Had a wonderful stay at West Watch for spring break with our family of five. The layout was perfect for our group. The house was well equipped, very clean and the kitchen had everything we need to cook some wonderful meals each night. The sunsets at night when it wasn't cloudy were amazing! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Stay - Perfect House

We had a wonderful stay in this home on Bald Head Island. The home had the perfect layout for our family and in-laws as there were two bedrooms on the lower floor, two bedrooms on the upper floor, with the living area & kitchen in between. It was open and fresh, with a gorgeous view of the ocean. It was conveniently located near the beach, BHI club, the lighthouse and village, and a 10-15 min golf cart ride away from the market and East Beach. The house was nicely equipped and check-in process was seamless. We loved the dog washing station. We would definitely return!

Best short vacation my husband and I have ever had. So relaxing and the house is great!

The house is absolutely beautiful and everything you need is right there. It was one of our best little get aways. We will definitely be going back. Check in was easy. The whole island is laid back and relaxing. I cannot say enough good things about the house and accommodations.

Beautiful House, Lovely Visit

West Watch is a wonderfully laid out, beautifully decorated home. The beds were super comfortable! The kitchen was outfitted superbly. Although not on the beach, the view of the ocean is spectacular and beach access is conveniently across the street. It’s evident the home is cared for and guests’ comfort and ease is top of mind. Would gladly stay here again and recommend to others. One small note for anyone visiting with a dog, Bald Head Island is inhabited with grasses that contain small, very sharp burrs. This property has a good bit of them in the yard and surrounding areas, so please beware as they are easily tracked inside by a furry pet and are quite painful when stepped on barefooted.
