This rural barn conversion has been tastefully furnished to provide a cosy, peaceful and stylish retreat for 2 in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. Crud y Wennol is 5 miles from the popular town of Bala with its amenities and steam train, not to mention the largest natural lake in Wales offering a choice of water sports. Set off to explore North Wales, choosing from a wide variety of outdoor adventures, pretty towns and beaches, castles, steam trains and much more. Cottage for 2 available next door

From meeting the lovely owner Ann to sitting in the garden overlooking countryside, this was the perfect five day retreat. The cottage was fantastic, comfy and warm. The enclosed garden for our dog was great. The location is excellent with many places to visit, lakes, valleys and coastal towns. We would come again.

This little cottage is just perfect for a stay in Wales. Just outside of Bala it's within easy reach of Snowdonia and some great sites just outside the park to the east. The owner was lovely and quickly responded to our questions or issues. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A very cosy cottage in a beautiful area. Cottage well equipped and modern amenities. Great view from garden. Ideally located to explore north wales and snowdonia. Would highly recommend.

The cottage is a great base close to two great towns. Bala, which is a nice little town for shopping and exploring and then there is the Bala lake as well. The other town is LLangollen which as horse drawn boats and steam trains. The views at the front of the cottage are lovely to sit out at and have a cuppa and a biscuit or a glass of wine and tapas. Inside the cottage its cosy and warm and has lovely exposed beams and wood fittings that make the setting nice for where the cottage is based in Wales. Sufficient kitchen for all needs and tv plus good wifi.
