"Owners were so friendly and helpful with questions about the area. The cabin and grounds were so quiet. The area felt very safe because you are actually on the owners' farm. The cabin has everything you need and is very clean. The bed is super comfortable. The owners left a cup of "goodies" so we could feed the animals. It was a perfect place to stay and close to Frankfort and many of the distilleries."

"This was an excellent option as a base to organize some outings to distilleries. We focused on distilleries in Frankfort and Louisville, so Shke yvulle was a great in between stop. The only snafu of the trip was the door code didn't work on arrival, but the owner responded quickly to text to get us in. The house is charming and clean and very quiet outside of the random trains. But if you make use of the ear plugs thoughtfully sprinkled through the bedrooms, the trains aren't much of a problem....

"Location was amazing, within walking distance of coffee shops and restaurants in a cute downtown area! Very quiet and safe, we loved our room and all of the historical charm! Spotlessly clean, and amazing shower. The only things we needed and would have been nice to have were scissors and dishwasher detergent for the dishwasher, but we were fine to wash the dishes by hand. Would definitely stay again!"

"Very isolated, which we loved! I think 5 adult friends might need a place with more than one bathroom next time, but for a family, this place would be perfect!! I could imagine kids and teenagers LOVING exploring the field next to the house and the surrounding woods, streams. One of the bedrooms (the loft) is only accessible via ladder, but, again, kids would likely LOVE that. Kitchen is fully equipped and tv/internet were great. It was a lovely stay!"

" Very nice stay while we went to the Ark Encounter and Bluegrass rail explorer. Long twisty road but worth the drive and surrounding with horses. Super quiet and spacious.
