"We loved our stay at the Wee Silverburn! It was the perfect size for our family of 4. Decorated so nicely, very comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and baking wares and cleaning supplies. The babbling brook just beyond the lush garden plantings completed the lovely setting. The location is wonderful, an easy walk down the beach and other offerings at Whiting Bay. The bus stop is right there too if you want to pop to a pub or two in Lamlash for dinner and drinks....

"We really enjoyed our stay. The check in with Isobel was very smooth and easy. The cottage is actually bigger than the front view suggests, as it has been extended at the rear. The bed was very comfortable. The cottage is well equipped and very clean and just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and facilities in Lamlash. There is plenty of parking and the garden gives space to enjoy the tranquil surroundings. We found this the ideal base to explore the beauty of Arran. We thought that this...

"Not a luxury apartment, kitchen and living room are nice enough, bedroom is not that pleasant and bathroom was completely awful- shower barely worked, smelt of cigarette smoke, poor lighting, no shelves that could be used."

"A last minute refusal by another property to honour our booking meant we had to quickly find an alternative. With hindsight, this was actually a good thing when we found this apartment. Marlborough was simply excellent. Lovely apartment, great view over the river, spotlessly clean, great location (convenient & quiet), easy reserved parking and lovely staff. Without a doubt will book here again on our next stay in the area. A great find."

"We were led to believe a lift was not required as ground floor. Wheelchair friendly etc. The bedroom was up a very steep set of stairs and no bathroom on the upper level. Having to access the bathroom in the night was quite dangerous for elderly people. The unit was not in good condition and I was asked to pay an insurance type of payment or leave a hundred pound bond that they could access if they felt it warranted it. "

"It was meh"

"Excellent little cottage located in a quiet hamlet. The beautiful weather enhanced our holiday. Many an evening was spent relaxing by the stream in the garden. Perfect for our dog too. The beach is just across the road, and was usually empty so we had it to ourselves most of the time.Great kitchen facilities and cozy living areas. Communication was quick and informative.We hope to return again in the future."
