"Stayed at an apartment for 2 nights in June 2025 and very happy with our stay. The accommodation is excellent and overlooks the best beach in New Zealand - 10 min walk to an impressive array of shops, bars and restaurants. Have no hesitation in recommending"

"Loved everything about our stay. Great location, hospitable owners, beautiful grounds, cute chickens. Clean room and comfy bed, not en-suite but private bathroom for every room, hot shower with very good shower pressure, lovely common kitchen and lounge areas. Would have stayed longer had we could! "

"Great large room with a view we did not expect. Housekeeping did not come to our room as expected however reception provided everything we required. Overall a great place to stay, very clean and close to many restaurants and cafes."

"The property is in a good condition, slightly dated but beautiful and comfy. The room we stayed in was well laid out, and very nice for a family visit. Overall a fantastic place to stay but absolute cherry on top was the service. The management are so kind, and thoughtful. I left them a pack of lollies to say thanks because after a previous bad experience somewhere else they really made up for it. "

"We stayed 2 nights here. Easy location. Great accomodation. Its winter but the place was well insulated and has air-condition. Bed is super comfy. Lots of space for us to move. Everything we need was there. Thanks you Summit! "

"The carpark, the entrance/reception, the room are all very clean, very tidy and very well maintained. It is in the city centre but it is quiet and can hardly hear the traffic from our room. Communication from the hotel was efficient, how to check-in after hours was clearly explained. Jamie has been accommodating with our questions and requests.
