"The trailer was older but fully functional. Heat and fans for temperature control. There was lots of space to park and set up tents, the kitchen sink and stove worked well and the bbq was very helpful. The space was very nice with trails, canoeing, and the full camping experience. Great private quiet spot in the valley! Thanks Josh and family! "

"The property is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained, with so many different places to host dinners and chats both inside and out that you'll never struggle to find the perfect spot!But the hosts were easily the stars of the show! Colleen and her husband were so incredibly accommodating and always responded quickly to the many questions we had for them.With plans for upgrades already it's hard not to imagine their property becoming a hot spot for both couples and groups alike!"

"This is a great property to relax. The rooms were spacious, clean and well furnished, and kitchen and living area offered all you need for a great stay. Add to it great outdoor space and you have all you need for a great stay. The location is remote yet Barry's Bay is close by so that you don't miss out on opportunities to shop and dine."

"Every. Single. Detail… impeccable.Jess thinks of everything—from a fully-stocked pantry and farm fresh eggs, to robes for the spa, and quick, friendly communication… The cabin was the perfect getaway destination for my sons, their girlfriends, and I to enjoy some beautiful quality time together. "Lakepoint was amazing! Stayed for a weekend with our dog and the area was perfect. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was functional and bbq was very nice. Gas stations and convenience stores 15 mins away. All together a great comfortable stay "

"This is a marvellous property! We rented it for a week for 11 of us. The cottages are very pleasant, and the entire property was ideal for us. Excellent outdoor space in particular, and right on the water. The indoor space in the largest cottage would be very tight for 11 people having a meal, but we had good weather, so this did not pose problems for us."

"We had a lovely stay. The listing was accurate and the cottage had everything we needed to enjoy a week at the lake. The host was responsive and helpful. The neighbours were also very friendly!"

"Loved the beach and sandy lake bottom. Didn’t like being right on highway 60, lots of traffic noise. The kitchen was very dark and the light over the sink wasn’t working. Everyone had to walk through the main bedroom to use the only shower, the hosts left their bar of soap, toothbrush and paste and a razor. The picture shows bright coloured Adirondack chairs around a big fire pit. We had to move the fire pit away from a drain pipe. We had 2 patio deck chairs that sank in the sand, a gravity...

"My vacation was very pleasant. The cottage was exceptionally clean and very nicely decorated. It was well equipped with appliances, everything you might need for a short or long term stay. Although not on the water, there was a very nice beach a 5 min walk down the cottage road. Very enjoyable!"

"This was the best-stocked cottage I have ever rented. The kitchen has everything you need including spices and condiments. The lake is beautiful and perfect for canoeing. The swimming access is a very long shallow sandy entry. The hot tub is great and includes screens to keep bugs out. Neighbours are fairly close when you’re at the lakeside but the yard and hot tub are completely private. Host is lovely and responsive. "The lodge is well equipped, all we needed to bring with us was food. It has a very nice view of the lake and a wide private beach - great for family with kids or elders. What is also good for kids and elders is the shallow water: 50 meters from shore it still won't go above the waist. "

"We had a great time at Gramma’s on the Lake. Could not have asked for a more beautiful location, quiet and private! This was our first time using VRBO so we weren’t sure how the check-in process or communication would be - and it was seamless. Due to user error (me), I had a bit of an issue with the code getting in so I connected with our hosts who were immediately responsive and we were in within minutes with no issues. "The property was nicely secluded, with multiple trails leading up to the top of the escarpment with a lovely view of Golden Lake. The cabin itself was clean and cozy, and the AC was perfect for sleeping as we went in a 35° July heatwave. Great little fire pit with affordable firewood supplied by the hosts.
