Viatges a Bad Schachen

Me and my family went to Switzerland for a fun planned trip we found a listing near the Zurich HB station for check in we had at 3pm we got there around 3:15pm we looked at the main desk we saw that it said go to the back door while there was a whole check in desk at the front fully empty at the back we had to wait around 45 minutes for the owner to come around to check me and my family in and not just that we entered the building to see that our room still wasn’t ready after an hour and 45 minutes of waiting they finally finished cleaning, we entered the room to see still a couple trash pieces on the ground and to find out the listing didn’t have AC even though it mentioned having AC instead they give us a broken down taped fan as a replacement and at the end to end it off they only provide one bathroom to share to other hotel customers with 65 Swiss francs for room service that was horrible very bad experience with heat during the night only having a useless broken down fan very bad hotel and the worst experience nobody should ever have to stay here and have to feel this pain.

Hotel muito bom mas não vale o alto custo para uma estadia turística, com foco em viajantes a negócios, não presta uma boa assistência turística, sem muita cordialidade ou suporte. Se bem que não deixa de ser um comportamento típico de alemães. Eles não tem muita paciência com a nossa forma de perguntar primeiro antes de pensar ou pesquisar rs. Recomendo a quem é turista e quer passear muito um hotel mais simples e turístico perto de Alstadt.

Staff we very friendly and helpful. Biggest drawback was no aircon in August when the temp was over 90%. The was afan but It didn't make abug difference. Hotel was close to the main train station, restaurants and shops, so that was plus. Unless I go during cold seasons, I wouldn't stay there again. But, if you tolerate a hot room to sleep in, it's perfect for you.

We stayed at this hotel the first night of our trip! We were in the attic suite and it was very comfortable for our family of 4. The AC in the main bedroom was great, but the other area could have used a boost. We ate dinner and had drinks at the hotel - the food was delicious! The staff at the hotel and restaurant were also very helpful!

First off I want to say that this was our experience in our room, on a hot night, checking in late and leaving very early the next day. We were in room 46. The hotel is conveniently located near the Zurich train station which is why we booked it. For easy access I’d give it 10/10. Had we had a different room with a working air conditioner, I would likely also rate the hotel very highly. For us, we had a room with no working air conditioner! The lowest room temperature all night was 27.6°. We had to open a window for some hope of cool air but then we had the issue of very very loud train noises. All night. The room is supposed to be sound proof but of course with the window open, it was far from being so. Sadly the hotel is self check in so there was no reception to go and ask for us to be moved to another room. Perhaps if that had been possible, we’d have had a comfortable night, a good sleep and a better review to write.
