The bedroom is a serene retreat featuring a plush king bed dressed in quality linen, layered textures and calming coastal tones. Large windows capture gorgeous garden views, with glimpses of the beach, lagoon and headland beyond.

The open-plan living area is light-filled and welcoming, complete with a comfortable lounge and a sofa bed for an additional guest along with the latest technology samsung smart tv. Thoughtfully styled with natural textures and soft coastal hues, along with a cosy electric fireplace that adds warmth and ambience during the cooler months, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a day by the sea.

We had a wonderful time away! The cottage was a step away from the beach and was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy the Easter long weekend away from home! Cafes and the surf club was a walk away with a fish & chips shop & restaurant that had great cocktails! Definitely recommend to get away to relax and unwind!

What a wonderful little cottage : tastefully decorated, excellent kitchen appliances. The king size bed is very comfortable along with the couch in the living area. Location could not be better across from the beach and a short walk to cafe and restaurantsMark and Hannah were easy to communicate with .Hopefully we will be back soon

Hannah and Mark were the most accommodating hosts, helpful friendly and kind. We sadly needed to cut our stay short due to having to return home to QLD but it was truly a very special place, beautifully and cleverly renovated to suit the Beach atmosphere.Delightful.Will most definitely return.

What a stunning little spot! We had a lovely mid week stay and everything was as described. Easy check in and great communication with the hosts. Newly renovated and beautifully styled. Such a comfy bed and loved reading my book in the bespoke lounge chair with a drink (thank you for the bottle of sparkling left in the fridge for us). We will be back!

Sandy Corner Cottage is absolutely stunning! It was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed and decorated and in a spectacular location. We loved going for walks along the beach and river, both right on our doorstep. Thank you so much for having us and for all the thought and attention at every turn, you have created a truly beautiful little oasis! We are so happy to have stayed here for 3 nights with our two children and will definitely be back in the future.

This little treasure is hard to beat! Very well appointed, with everything you need during your stay.The position is gorgeous, steps from the beautiful Avoca Beach. Close to all shops with a short walk to the Surf Club, with many Cafes to choose from.We would highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a fantastic stay at Sandy Corner, the property is beautiful and very modern. The bed is super comfy and the whole place is fitted out very tastefully. The television is great with Netflix available to watch too. It is situated right by the beach and is in an area which make exploring the central coast very easy. If we were to return to the area we would look to book here again. Thank you for a great stay

Excellent cottage, great fam getaway for families with young kids. Such a classy and quiet place to relax. Beach, children park, and restaurants in walkable distance. Hannah and Mark were helpful and kind enough to give complementary drinks. Overall, well maintained property and I highly recommend.

Location location location !

Incredible location just across from Avoca beach, newly renovated and they have done an amazing job with it. Incredibly comfy king bed with super soft sheets. A couple of choccys and a bottle of sparkling were very much appreciated! Beautiful products in the bathrooms and tea /oil/ washing up products provided. Layout was fab for the 3 of us and we had a wonderful time. Very easy to communicate with the host. Would love to come back. Note of advice - If you are wanting to use the sofa for sleeping, request sheets/ duvet in advance or bring your own.

Perfect location

To be able to walk out the door and across the road to stroll along the beach and watch whales playing out at sea was magical. The staff and food at Waves Cafe were great, the friendliness of all shop owners on the main drag was a great change to the big city bustle. Son enjoyed choosing between ocean and lake fishing. Daughter loved perusing the antique store. Well appointed and beautifully decorated. Everything you need and thought of. The neighbours to the cottage welcoming. Helpful and friendly. The attention to detail was marvellous. Communication with owners quick and easy. Really loved it here, would love to come back.
