SAN GABRIEL RIVER Retreat WATERFRONT Panoramic View, PRIVATE POOL, Pet Friendly!

The San Gabriel River View Home is located in the heart of Georgetown, TX. It walking distance to miles of trails along the San Gabriel River which lead to many parks, Lake Georgetown, downtown Georgetown and more! The views from this home are amazing! The property has panoramic river views that can be seen from multiple windows in the home, as well as on the back patio and pool areas. The home is fully furnished and ready for you. Small dogs (20 lbs and under) are welcome. We have a $25 per day, non-refundable pet fee.

Downtown Georgetown is less than a 10 minute drive and includes many restaurants, museums, wineries, shopping adventures and the historical Georgetown Square. Southwestern University, Round Rock Outlet Mall and Sun City are all just a short drive!

This property is perfect for small groups not exceeding 6 people. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Both of the bathrooms have walk-in showers (no bathtubs). Please note a 4th bedroom, storage room and garage will be locked and not accessible by guests. There is a long carport for covered parking. There is other parking in the long driveway and on the street.

Please note, access to down to the river by the water is NOT allowed. Guests need to stay in the backyard fenced area. Chandler Park is just a few minute drive away and is a great place to fish and sit at the picnic tables by the water if you want to be by the river.

Please note this property is not recommended for children, due to the private pool. There is no lifeguard on duty, so swim at your own risk and minimum age for all guests is 15 years old. The pool is not heated. The person making the reservation needs to be at least 25 years old. No diving in the pool as it is shallow. And stay off the pool coping and faux negative edge, on the sides and back river side of the pool.

Don't forget your coffee, cream, sugar, laundry detergent, soaps, shampoo/conditioner and toiletries. We have a regular drip style coffee maker at the property. We provide toilet paper and paper towels to get you started.

If you would like to bring kayaks or water toys for the river, you are welcome too. You just need to access the river at Chandler Park, which is about a three minute drive from the house. There is no river access in the backyard.

Please note, we have a Ring security camera located at the exterior front entrance overlooking the driveway.

Pets need prior approval to booking. Please, small dogs 20 lbs and under only.

Just Right for a Group of 6

We came to Georgetown for Two Step Inn & had a great stay at the River Retreat! The weather was too cold for the pool, but it looks gorgeous & would be wonderful for warmer days. We loved the big couch in the living room for evening conversation.

Loved the view, the patio furniture, and the pool. Great plants and landscaping. Gorgeous kitchen but please note that the fridge doesn't have drinking water feature. Wouldn't have minded an upgraded toilet paper as it was very thin. We were missing a hot tub. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back. PS Do be mindful of scorpions as it is Texas.

Family recharge getaway

Amy provided EVERYTHING needed for our great stay at her property. The house was just perfect/ NO SURPRISES!! Which is exactly what you want in a week long family getaway. The backyard and pool overlooking the river are spectacular! So comfortable! Loved watching the sun come up over the trees across the river every morning at about 7:30am. Just an all around amazing experience- Well done, Ms. Corley!

Amazing & Relaxing Vacation stay

We recently stayed at this wonderful home overlooking the San Gabriel River ( My husband, my Mom and my Senior dog). The home is set up nicely for anyone that wants to cook or eat in. We had groceries delivered by HEB an hour after we arrived which was great. The location is convenient to the beautiful park, restaurants and a short drive to downtown Georgetown. The home was nicely decorated, clean and had everything we needed to cook. I would suggest to bring measuring spoons and a coffee scoop if you plan to drink coffee. We loved the convenience of having a washer and dryer to use as well. The backyard and pool are what make this rental AMAZING- great view of the river, very calming, comfortabl patior furniture and a nice breeze in the evening. The breeze was so nice as it kept the bugs and mosquitos away due to the elevation of the property on top of the hill. Deer galore which were very comfortable around people. So cute to watch. All the rooms were nicely sized and super clean. The beds were pretty comfortable. The only one I had an issue with was the one that had access to the backyard. The mattress was "squeaky like rubber" and thin. I couldn't get comfortable on that mattress so I tried another room. Otherwise, the other two mattresses were comfortable. Amy, the Host was very accommodating and quick to answer questions. I definitely recommend this vacation home.

Lovely home

Great host! Lovely home! Very clean and modern and just very nice and homey. We loved the pool, view, deer, porches. We stayed outside a lot and the space is very nice inside and outside. ❤️❤️

Perfect Escape for our long weekend

This place has it all! Upon arrival, the house was clean, cool and inviting. We like to cook our meals and everything we needed to cook and serve was available. And then some! The pool and deck view is relaxing and we enjoyed being outside with our doggies. In the evening, there was plenty of room to kick back and enjoy a movie. Beds were amazing and we slept so comfortably! The host was friendly and amazing to work with the whole time. We loved this property. We hope to be back in the future.

Idyllic Retreat

Elegance and comfort combine with a whimsical backyard overlooking the San Gabriel river to create an idyllic retreat. Although only a short drive from downtown Georgetown, interstate access, and shopping, this location feels removed from the stresses of life. Our family was able to listen to birds, watch deer every night, and even spy a gray fox one evening while enjoying the relaxing outside areas. Less than a mile walk away is Chandler park if you want to visit the river more closely. Modern conveniences were available: fast internet, access to TV, and connection to streaming services (via your personal login). Our check in process was seamless. Amy, the host, was a delight to work with, communicating everything clearly and in a timely fashion. The three rooms are comfortable as are the common areas. Everything was spotlessly clean! I whole heartedly recommend this rental for a small family gathering!

Relaxing on the River

We were in town for a family Thanksgiving at our son and his wife’s home. The house in a great location along the river and close proximity to all the amenities of Georgetown. The house is super comfortable and clean and it felt like home away from home. We were even able to cook items for the thanksgiving dinner. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Girl’s Trip

All 6 ladies had a great time relaxing in the beautiful pool. Very peaceful property and clean. The deer were nice to watch while enjoying coffee on the front porch. Beds are comfortable and plenty of room in the kitchen for all of us to gather and chat. Highly recommended. The host was fast to respond to any question we had. Can’t wait to visit again! Great Hill Country Getaway

The property was perfect for our group of six. It seemed like it had been completely remodeled with great attention to detail. The layout was great to hang out together and get a little privacy when needed. The yard was nicely done, pool was much nicer than I would have expected in September, and I look forward to staying there when we go back again.

Best VRBO we have stayed in!

This was by far the best experience we have had with a property on VRBO. The communication with the host was prompt and very accommodating, the house itself is beautiful and the neighborhood is picturesque. We loved the backyard with the pool and how peaceful it was no matter what time of day or night. We are already planning our next trip back!

Fantastic property

One of the best properties we’ve visited in Texas. Great views, very well maintained and clean home, nice town square 10 minutes away. A very, very well-cared for rental. And we were visited daily by a herd of deer that laid on the front lawn each morning. They watched us as much as we watched them. Absolutely recommend!

Our stay was fantastic! Family + pups had the best time and most comfortable stay in this Texas heat. Nature and river views and a pool were the right combo for us. All the creature comforts in this beautiful river retreat! It instantly felt like home! We would definitely return!

Quiet peaceful relaxing vacay

The property was decorated beautifully inside and out. We loved the various plants surrounding the pool. The wild life was amazing, a herd of deer roamed the neighborhood freely. It was so unexpected but breath taking to be able to sit on the front porch and watch baby deer relaxing on the grassy lawn under the shade of the trees. It was an extremely nice way to start your day off, drinking coffee and watching a mom and her babies lounging peacefully. The pool was a nice way to cool off during the hot summer day. The host provided floats and pool towels, so no need to pack those. The back patio had plenty of trees and shaded areas like a wrap around deck and a couple of patio umbrellas, one of which was hanging over the pool! The view below of the river was beautiful. The host provided all the necessities for cooking, bathing and swimming. The beds were comfy and there were extra pillows provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Just plain remarkable!

This home is a dream come true! I thought the pool feature would be the top highlight, but it was simply a plus in an amazing residence. The home is updated with designer touches. The beds were so comfortable. Everything was immaculate and handy. A perfect location near everything. The host was easily accessible. And to top all this off, we enjoyed the company of deer all day long! There just wasn’t a downside in anything. Highly recommend.
