As soon as you step inside, you will be spoiled by the fantastic mid-century furnishings and decor, vaulted ceilings, and natural light throughout. With such an open layout, you will find that entertaining the whole gang is a breeze with the charming living room and fully equipped kitchen seamlessly flowing from one to the other. The chef of the group will fall in love with the modern appliances to whip up favorite recipes, and a coffee cart also awaits for that morning cup of joe.

After a full day of fun, sip your favorite beverage on the screened porch as the sun goes down. Kick back in the living room and watch a favorite movie on the flatscreen TV as days come to a close. Don't wait too long because this home-away-from-home won't last long!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Wow!

Pristine white tile floors, comfortable will appointed. Inviting acreened in porch at the back and sitting area out front. So many features that make this home at the top of the list of VRBO’s we have stayed in.

The property was just as it shows online. The screened in porch was EVERYTHING. It was only missing a hammock and/or daybed in my opinion. Help was only a text or call away.

The house seemed very clean, however, the trundle bed had stained sheets on it and when I removed the sheet the mattress protector was covered in urine. I messaged the host and they thanked me for letting them know and said they would get back to me but never did. I also found a pair of girls bathing suit bottoms under that mattress. The queen mattress definitely needs to be replaced. The screened in porch is nice and my kids loved seeing all of the deer from the backyard. Overall, I would stay here again.

Idyllic Retreat

If you want some quiet time in an impeccably clean house, this is your ticket. Watch deer in the morning while sipping your fresh coffee, and plan your day out at the lake. Perfect.

Oh deer! Lago Vista house

I really enjoyed my stay at this house, it’s located in a quiet neighborhood, where deer roam around the streets, backyard and front yard. They were harmless and seemed to stay out of the way when driving, the house had everything you need, the rooms were spacious, and beds were comfy. The tv’s were setup for streaming, and the back porch had an awesome view of the park where the deer hang out at. I would definitely look for this house again in future visits to Texas.

Peaceful Family Retreat

This was our second stay at Sunset Villa, it was nice returning after 2 years to visit family. We love the quietness and the viewing of the deer, however this time around we had to deal with the noise from the neighbors dog whom I'm sure was just excited to see the deer. Looking forward to visiting again for the peace and calmness this neighborhood provides. Also hopefully we will be able to visit the Lake on our next visit. Would also love to know if there is a trick to get local TV channels in this rental as we love to stay in tune with local news and weather. Thanks for a comfortable retreat!

One bad night

The place was great the only issue was that we extended our stay for a extra night and the internet stop working. We couldn’t watch tv for the whole day and i missed a playoff game.

Great place in a peaceful setting!

We loved this house...and wound up staying for four weeks! It was the perfect retreat but also a great place for us to work from. The neighborhood is cute and quiet. We walked to the lake a few times a week. The dear were so fun to watch. And the sunsets were incredible!!! The house was clean and comfortable. Some short term rental pictures look great but the stay is uncomfortable. This wasn't the case. We have recommended this home to our friends, and we would absolutely go back! Lago Vista is a cute community! And we highly recommend that while you are stay at the house, you go visit Hannah and Drew at The Burger Bar. We would recommend this house to any couple or family.

No Door Locks for Privacy.

The home was beautiful and clean, but a huge inconvenience was the fact that all the doors didn’t have locks. The lock that was needed the most was the one for the bathroom in the hallway. Also, we had trouble with the front door lock. We communicated with Property Mgr. and they were unable to help us lock the front door from the outside. We ended up figuring it out, you have to enter the door code to lock it as well. One of the bedroom lights also didn’t turn on and that was inconvenient as well. I do recommend door locks on all doors, especially the bathroom in the hallway. Other than that, it’s a great house!

Lago Vista Austin get away

Very neat get away! We had deer in the yard at all times, home was very nice in a quiet neighborhood, definitely a place to revisit. Thumbs up all the way around!

Relaxing weekend

House is beautifully decorated, comfortable with plenty of room. Bathrooms are very nice and beds super comfortable. Neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Kids loved seeing the deer everyday. As stated in prior review, locks on the bedroom doors would provide more privacy. Refrigerator could use upgrade/update. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend. Home was further away from restaurants and activities than we were expecting but the scenery was nice driving to restaurants etc.

Lakeside retreat to watch the deer play

This was an absolutely pristine house on quiet street for us to de-stress. We came here to get to the lake, and this place absolutely did the trick. We were surprised at how spotless this place was--chic, by homey. We have been to a few rentals that looked great in the pictures, but didn't live up to the hype. This place was way more roomy and comfortable than we expected. Better than that though, was the fact that we started and ended every day watching the birds and the deer all around us. Every morning, we just took out our mugs of coffee to watch the bay deer playing near their mothers, and to watch the birds figure out who is in charge today. Later, we took time to go to the lake. We ended our days either watching the deer walking by as we had a drink or eating dinner, or by going to local places. We'll definitely be back.
