Hill Country Getaway

This Hill Country Getaway located minuets from South Austin, Dripping Springs and Wimberly. Take your pick from touring the wineries, posting up at the local breweries, snacking on the local BBQ, shopping at the stores in Wimberly, checking out all the antiques in Dripping Springs, or just rocking back and forth on the back porch facing 35 acres of Oak trees. The path behind the house goes all the way to Onion Creek and and delivers a mile long walk from the house with stone benches along the way for those who need a tiny break! The master bedroom has a trundle and there is a nursey nestled between the laundry room and the master. The back room has 3 twin beds and the front bedroom has 1 queen bed. All rooms have a tv, DVD player, closet, fan, and cleans sheets. The terrace is perfect for any event and can be rented long-term for honeymoons. Max guest limit 10. A wonderful weekend in Driftwood. We didn’t get to spend much time at the house, due to wedding commitments, but enjoyed the time when we were there.

Family weekend

A beautiful getaway with family for a wedding/early Easter celebration! The house has everything you will need and you won’t want to leave the porch - spring thunderstorms, blue bonnets and singing by the fire pit. Great location. Very private. Very kind and helpful owners.

Loved it!

What a great place for a family gathering! We were in the hill country for our daughters wedding. The house was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed and more. It sits on several acres with beautiful views of the hills. It was very close to HEB, restaurants and even the venue for the wedding. The house is spacious, decorated so cute, plenty of amenities and even a super fun game room in the garage! It is very clean and obviously well cared for. We look forward to staying there again when we can spend more time there!

Hands down best place

Best place we've stayed so far. This place has everything you need and I mean everything. No pool or hot tub. More than enough things to do in the area and in the house. Garage is stocked with video games and such! Love this place!

Beautiful property 5 stars

These pictures don't do this property justice. It was overwhelmingly beautiful, tranquil and surreal. We were here for a wedding in town so didn't have time to really enjoy all this house had to offer. We are already planning our trip back with family in the summer. Thank you for your hospitality in your beautiful home.

Beautiful Heaven in the Hills

Wanted a relaxing place to stay for my family while we were in town for the US Grand Prix COTA. House was perfect. Lots of room to spread out and plenty of sitting areas. Views around the property were just bliss. Very clean and inviting. Will absolutely consider renting again. Thank you!

Fabulous stay!

Our group stayed at Juniper Oaks for the 4th of July Weekend- overall amazing stay! The pictures do not do it justice- the place is charming and there’s even many fun areas for entertainment in the garage.

Relaxing weekend

We had a very relaxing weekend and enjoyed the outdoors even in the heat of summer! Always a nice breeze sitting on the back porch watching the deer. The home was very nice and comforting, very clean and we enjoyed the decor. Some things in the home took us down memory lane. Can’t wait to come back with the rest of our family.

The house was amazing plenty of room for our family The kids loved the game room and all of the extra amenities were definitely a plus. We would definitely stay there again. We actually had other family members come by and really liked the place and were asking about how we found it.

Wedding stay

Delightful interior ….. every space had something to view. Kitchen counters needed some space for working….too many items, but you knew if you needed something it was probably there. Exterior needed grooming…..driveway needs to be reworked. Stay was comfortable and the garage was great!

TX Hill Country Wedding

The property was well represented with both description and photos. We found the inside very clean and well appointed. As we were in the area for a family wedding and all that it entailed, there was no opportunity to enjoy the kitchen and breakfast on the patio; however, the home did appear to have everything one might require.. The only negative comment was the timing of communication regarding check in process. We did not receive the information until the morning of our arrival, while we were driving to TX, which was too close for comfort. The owner did apologize, yet it should have been handled differently.

Nice getaway!

We enjoyed our stay here! Overall, the house was great - could’ve been swept a little better - lots of cobwebs & dead bugs especially in the master bedroom. The trail to Onion Creek was not quite as advertised. We had to walk through 10 ft grass to even get a peek of the water. We did have a problem with the AC but the homeowners were easy to communicate with and sent someone out to fix it quickly. The property was beautiful and it was a nice getaway for our family.

Weekend getaway

We had 4 generations, ranging from 86 to 1, the house met everyone’s needs. The nursery and toys were such an added bonus! Our granddaughter thought we were at Disney Land. The setting is beautiful, countryside views were wonderful, and peaceful. The house is well furnished, very clean and welcoming.

Such a wonderful place.

We had an incredible time being here for Thanksgiving. It was super accommodating. We felt very welcomed and at home here. Would definitely stay again. Beds were so comfy.

Nice place in the hill country

We stayed with a group of 8 adults and really enjoyed this house. It would be great for large families with kids. Owners were generous with supplies such as toiletries as well as pantry items. The 30-acre setting feels secluded but has great access to groceries, restaurants, etc. within a short drive. A car is a must, though. The view from the back porch is terrific and the game room in the garage is nice surprise. There are a few electrical outlets that weren't working and light switches that made no sense but those are minor complaints. Also, the addition of an outdoor dining table might be a good move. Overall, a great place to stay in Driftwood.

All the thumbs up!

We absolutely fell in love with this place!! Juniper Oaks is a beautiful property with very accommodating hosts. We had last minute schedule changes and they were super accommodating. It is clear this property has been cared for down to the littlest detail. It is decorated with the coolest items and has so much to explore (indoors and out). There is plenty of space for adults, children and pups to feel comfortable. It has three very nice and roomy full baths. I REALLY enjoyed the master suite! You will need nothing at this place, especially in the kitchen. It is clear the hosts are very generous souls because what is theirs is yours also when you rent Juniper Oaks. Family, or adults only getaway... This is your place. We definitely will plan future trips here.

Perfect Weekend

This was a perfect family gathering house with lots of room and things to do for everyone! Kitchen was very well equipped, thank you, and the dining table easily accommodated our family and a few guests! Much appreciated the cute little nursery as we had a 23 month old and she loved all the toys to play with! Beds, baths, linens all fresh and very comfortable-hosts provided lots of extra touches to make our stay especially comfortable! The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the views and sunsets from the rocking chairs while sipping our drinks. We will definitely come back! Thank you!

memorial weekend

The property was easy to find, beautiful setting and view. All the Ladies enjoy birdwatching so seeing bluebirds, flycatchers, tanagers etc was so fun. the kitchen was so fully stocked that we didn't want for anything. We tried to leave things the way we found it. The only downside was the uncomfortable chairs in the kitchen and dining room chairs that screeched and were hard to move.. We hated to leave

Great Property for Families

We had two families stay at the property (4 Adults & 3 kids under 2). The house had ample room for everyone and a great selection of toys for the kids to play with. The rocking chairs on the back porch were a great place to watch the sunset, eat dinner, and watch the deer move around in the pasture. The location was great and in relative close proximity to Jester King, Saltlick, Desert Door Distillery, and Vista Brewing. We would definitely stay at the property again.

Great Driftwood Getaway

We had a great stay! Our young kids enjoyed the bunk beds, toys, and outdoor spaces. The adults liked the ample space and proximity to good food, wineries, and distilleries.
