"Excellent property with stunning views to a lake (Grundlsee) and the mountains. Helpful, friendly and very welcoming staff. Recommend."

"If you’re looking for affordable accommodation close to Hallstatt without paying Hallstatt prices, JUFA Hotel Altaussee is a reasonable choice, particularly for families with children. The location is excellent, surrounded by beautiful scenery, and the hotel offers good family-friendly facilities. (JUFA Hotels) That said, manage your expectations. The rooms are clean but very basic, and on the small side. They are perfectly adequate for a short stay but lack the comfort and character you...

"I have rarely left a poor review, but this is advertised as a “Bed and Breakfast”, however, the breakfast is not provided, unless you pay €20 EACH! Then there was the parking fee, which we were aware of needing to be paid, BUT… the host and the...

"Super clean apartment, owners were vety nice and helpful. There was everything we needed. Little kitchen was cude. We would only need to open it a bit earlier. ( it is closed 22.00-8.30 ). Supermarkets are nerby. All surounded by beautiful mountains."

"Very clean house. Beautiful place."

"My wife was taking a shower in the morning and then just about she is done she noticed that the water is brown. I went to the front desk to report the issue, but I was surprised that they already know that there is an issue and that the main line somehow got crossed with a dirty water line but unfortunately they didn’t inform the rooms. I would imagine in a situation like that they should inform all guests not to use the water and especially we were using the tap water fir drinking as well. I...

"We liked our room, location (close to train station), and breakfast. Unfortunately no left luggage facility. We had to leave our bags in the hotel lobby."
