Luxurious Vacation Home in the Heart of Augusta

This luxurious 3500 square foot ranch house comes with 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a big ping pong room, and a big kitchen with an expansive window. The home has plenty of seating areas, a 2-acre beautiful yard, and a pond with a fountain. The home is extremely private and well-secured and is bordered by a creek in the back and fences and gates along the sides.

This home is located in the heart of Augusta, Georgia. It is directly adjacent to the Augusta National Golf Course and is also very close to the Augusta Country Club, Augusta University, Medical School and Dental School, and the Historic Downtown Augusta. It is within walking distance to Augusta National Gold Course and Augusta Country Club.

  • This is Lake Olmstead Park , a beautiful little park in the heart of Augusta, GA. Several canals and bodies of water run to the lake, those waters eventually connect to the savannah river. Highly recommended when in AUGUSTA.

  • Home of Freeman Walker, outstanding citizen of early Georgia. Born in Virginia in 1780, he came to Richmond County in his youth and studied law. Freeman Walker, in 1826, deeded 70 acres of land to the United States Government to be used as an arsenal-the site now of the Junior College of Augusta. He reserved one acre as a family burial ground, known as the Walker Cemetery. He was the father of Maj. Gen. W. H. T. Walker, CSA. Admitted to the bar in 1802, he followed a life of public service; City Attorney for three years and Mayor of Augusta 1817-19, being the first to hold the city´s chief executive office under the name of Mayor, and Brigade Inspector of Gen. Valentine Walker´s brigade in 1813. He represented Richmond County in both branches of the State Legislature and represented Georgia in the U. S. Senate. His speech on the Missouri Compromise attracted nation-wide attention. He died in 1827 and is buried in the Walker Cemetery.

Amazing place, perfect location, and great host

We loved our stay here. Ample space and plenty of bedrooms. Nestled right up next to Rae’s Creek. Effortless check-in and checkout process. Would highly recommend that place.

All VERY clean! There were 10 of us for Thanksgiving dinner and 2 large tables worked great for us. However, silverware, glasses, and coffee mugs were not nearly adequate. All else great!

Accurate and Accommodating

The listing was just as described and worked well for our work trip. We each had our own space but also plenty of room to come together and work. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. The location was in a subdivision but was relatively quiet and close to town.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!

We were in town for a family wedding. This house allowed all 13 of us stay together since there are 6 bedrooms. Enjoyed lunch outside under their huge covered porch while the kids played in the yard. Highly recommend!!

Peaceful stay.

My family and I really enjoyed the property. Very clean and spacious home in a nice and quiet area. Big and beautiful back yard. Deck could use some updating, but overall good stay. I put 5 stars on communicating with property manager, but we never had to reach out to them, because we didn’t have any issues. Coming back in a few months for a wedding planning on staying in this same home again.
