Beautiful Waterfront Home on St. Lawrence River

This is a beautiful house by the St. Lawrence River, it is conveniently located near the intersection of highway 401 and highway 416, 3 km to Prescott downtown; 10 minutes to US/Canada border; convenient highway access to Brockville, Kemptville, Gananoque, Cornwall, Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and Ogdensburg, New York state. Close to Thousand Islands, Thousand Islands National Park, diving, golfing, Aquatarium. While enjoy all the beauty that nature can offer, it also has connections to modern systems, fiber optic network, free WIFI. With 16 acres of backyard, the perfect blend of recreation and friendship, relaxation and discovery. There is a full-size deck with barbecue. There is a 265 feet private rocky beach with a modern dock (need to cross the road).
The house has been totally renovated with a modern kitchen, the sun room has a stylish fireplace insert and a small pool table. There are four bed rooms. The house has six beds, The master room has a king size bed, the large room upstairs has one queen size bed, and one double bed, the smaller room upstairs has one queen size bed and one single bed. There is also a bedroom at basement with one queen size bed.
The setting is beautiful. Come to enjoy the magnificent view of St. Lawrence River. To support long term stay and corporate guests, we provide weekly clean and change sheets. The use of kayaks and canoes is included in the booking, firewood is available on site and is free.

Excellent location and home for our dive group. Nice big kitchen and private rooms. The front deck was large enough for everyone to dry their dive gear. Will be booking again. The owners popped over to make sure everything was to standards. Very pleased.

We very much enjoyed our family weekend on this property. The house was very comfortable and very well equipped with anything we needed. The kitchen was very large, wonderful for family meals.. The outdoor space was amazing. A very large fenced in yard and also a private beach for swimming and kayaking (kayaks were provided). We would definitely rent again.

We had a great time here with our family. The home is very well kept and spacious, very large yard to play in. The host was super responsive and nice and actually came around to tend to the property grounds and answer questions a few times during our stay. The only thing is we were surprised to find the water access is actually outside the home, and you need to cross a road to get to it. It's not far but it's not clear from the photos. That is also the only place to have a fire, so we ended up not doing that. I would also *Highly* recommend swimmers to get water shoes because the shore is all rocks. There are lifejackets of various sizes and a couple kayaks and a canoe so it's really fun. The town center is very close so enjoyable for a stroll, ice cream fort tour, etc Thanks for everything!

What a perfect home for a relaxing trip! Right on the Saint Lawrence. Close to Prescott and Brockville . And 2 hours from Montreal. Home was very clean and all upgrades. Tastefully decorated. Host was excellent!

Renfu was very nice and accomodating and could be easily reached and responded quickly. The place is beautiful and even though the meteo was not at it's best, we were still able to use the canot and kayaks to go on the river. We had a great time.

Great place, great location, beautiful views! Very clean and well stocked with all the essentials. We were able to cook family size meals and all sit together. Ideal location for a sweet retreat with a view of the St. Lawrence! We went from Ottawa with friends and our little kids and had a barbecue dinner - gas provided by the host - on the spacious deck. There are a few animals (goats, chickens) who are fenced off far enough from the house that you can see and hear them, but they're not in your space or smelly. We saw virtually no mosquitoes during our three-day stay in late July. The owners are friendly and responsive to questions, and even gave us fresh eggs for breakfast and again to take home! The private rock beach across the road is great for boating or dipping your feet in the beautiful river, and it has a couple fire pits. There's one fire pit behind the house, too, and they provide wood for the fire. The appliances in the house such as dishwasher are new, the water pressure in the shower was excellent and the bed in the basement was comfortable! This little hobby farm is secluded and idyllic, but only a five-minute drive from the town of Prescott if you want to shop! We went to a cafe for ice cream and baked goods and enjoyed Centennial Park in town.

We rented during the Christmas Holiday and during a HUGE blizzard. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. The property was clean and welcoming; but gave privacy once they greeted us. The property looks just like the photos. Views of the River are great. The home was comfortable to ride out the storm. Once things calmed down, the property allowed ample room to play in the snow. The home was supplied with necessities. Just overall a great stay.
