"Wonderful hotel with history in the heart of the French Quarter! The rotating bar is the best! The beds were comfy with excellent pillows- soft and plenty. The bathroom was tight, obviously updated from an older version; the complimentary toiletries a pleasant scent, and the bath robe handy since I forgot mine. I loved the decor and architecture and proximity to fantastic restaurants and musical venues. "

"We have stayed at a Kimpton Hotel in the past, and we splurged to stay again. It did not disappoint. The hotel was modern, great decor, clean, and the rooms were very spacious (4 travelers: 2 adults 2 teens). We were surprised by the extra large towels & thickness. The scent of the shampoo was less desirable though. Although there were many lamps, it was still a little dim at night. I would prefer brighter light, but I get it was part of the vibe. "We had a great time at this hotel. Kabrel, the gentleman behind the bar provided great service and we had a blast after coming back from a night on Bourbon St. Unfortunately, we wasn't there during the weekend, and we could tell, as the experience wasn't as fun as the first night. "

"The property was nice, full kitchen washer dryer. My only complaint was that the windows need to be replaced you can hear way too much noise from outside even regular conversation. Also a smell of moisture that was unpleasant but I febreezed.Besides that I loved it! The location was perfect"

"Room was clean and spacious and in a terrific area for exploring the French Quarter. It seems some of the rooms have been updated but in our room there were a few issues: automatic blinds were in poor shape and did not work, and thermostat didn’t really control the temp. Sliding door in the bathroom may be aesthetically interesting, but has no sound barrier so make sure you are very close with your roommates. "I would never book again with this hotel. They charge you 43 for amenities but I didn’t see what for they charge me for the bottle of water that was in my room. No clean towels the next day and no one came to clean the whole attire time we were there. "
