"We initially had an issue with too much air freshener in our room and once we asked about it, the staff immediately put an ionizer in the room and took care of the problem completely. The restaurant served great food and very large portions. The bed and shower were great. Cleaning staff was incredibly friendly as were bartenders and wait staff."

"What a fantastic stay we had at John Muir Lodge! Every detail was perfect, from the coffee in the lobby in REAL ceramic mugs, friendly and helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms, quick walk to a fantastic restaurant, gift shop and market at Cedar Grove! " We spent two nights here while visiting the Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. The property is clean and safe. There are lots of hummingbirds that we enjoyed watching. Connie gave us some very useful advice about how to tours the parks the most efficiently. Highly recommended."

"Excellent location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. The host was attentive, the room was perfect with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and place settings for 2. I just hope the toilet paper was chosen for the septic system and not because they wanted that brand. I am glad I arrived in the daylight, the short dirt road in would be tricky in the dark the first time. Dining recommendations were spot on - good food, very friendly service, and close by. I wouldn't hesitate to book here...
