Summary:
Number Five is a newly completed, architecturally designed coastal retreat set on the edge of the Onetangi wine valley and just up the hill from Onetangi Beach. Warm timber interiors, modern furnishings, and a quiet green setting create a calm, comfortable base for guests wanting easy access to both the beach and the island’s vineyard dining.
The Space:
Number Five is designed for relaxed, practical living with light-filled interiors and a clear, functional layout across two levels. The main level brings together the kitchen, dining, and living areas in an open-plan arrangement finished with warm wood panelling and large sliding doors on two sides. When opened, the space fills with fresh air and natural light, creating an easy connection to the outdoor areas and garden.
The kitchen is modern and well equipped, with clean lines and everything needed for simple meals or relaxed holiday cooking. The living area is furnished for comfort and looks out across the lawn and surrounding native plantings, giving the space a settled, peaceful feel.
Also on the main level is the primary bedroom and a full bathroom, making this floor comfortable for couples or guests who prefer to avoid stairs. The lower level contains two additional bedrooms and a second full bathroom. This level is accessed externally, creating a clear separation between the main living spaces and the guest rooms, which works well for couples travelling together, older children, or guests wanting additional privacy.
All furnishings throughout the home are new and thoughtfully chosen to keep the interiors calm, comfortable, and easy to live in.

Obsidian is also close by and known for relaxed tastings in a sheltered vineyard clearing.
Onetangi Beach is a short walk or drive away and offers swimming, long beach walks, and beachfront dining. Three Seven Two sits directly across from the sand and serves modern island dishes throughout the day, while Charlie Farley’s is a relaxed, family-friendly option from morning through evening.
