Our contemporary home is situated on a clifftop overlooking Big Manly beach, with private beach access. The amazing panoramic views of the Hibiscus Coast are spectacular from the bedrooms, lounge, dining room and deck areas.

The fully equipped kitchen is open plan and opens to a large deck which is the perfect place to enjoy a BBQ and a glass of wine at the end of a busy day and watch the sunset.

This property can accommodate 6 guests.

On this same level as the living areas there are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other has two single beds and office area. There is a separate bathroom and toilet.

The large master bedroom on the top floor has a queen bed and a separate en-suite with toilet and shower.

On the ground floor is a fully equipped laundry, and off-street parking for two cars. No garaging facilities available.

All linen is included, along with beach towels and bathrobes / hairdryer if required.

The property managers live on site and are happy to answer any questions during your stay. There are no shared facilities.

Whangaparaoa Peninsular offers many beaches that are great for swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, jet skiing, fishing, sailing and yachting or you can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the beaches.

Shakespear Regional Park -7 minutes.
Orewa Township -18 minutes.
Gulf Harbour Schools / Wentworth College - 4 minutes.
Gulf Harbour Yacht Club - 10 minutes.
Ferry to CBD - 10 minutes.
Auckland CBD - 45 minutes.
Auckland Airport - 55 minutes.

Coast Plaza and Manly Village, which are close by, offer many cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy, community leisure center, doctors, medical emergency facility and movie complex.

Great stay at Cliff top

We had a perfect place at the Cliff top to visit Auckland and the north. Really a beautiful place for vacation. Wonderful view, lovely rooms and interieur - absolutely to recommendate!!!

Lovely Stay

This was our last stay in New Zealand and was by far the best, the most gorgeous home! We had everything we could need and then some. Sue and Ed were great hosts and we enjoyed our many conversations. The location was lovely, just what we needed to relax and unwind after a month of travel.

Beautiful house with views

Lovely house, interestingly decorated and designed. Very comfortable beds and very well equipped. Owners live below. Keeping young children quiet for the owners sake was important. Little outside space but lovely swimming beaches within walking distance.

Lovely home

Beautifully appointed home, full of art and tastefully furnished. Great views across the bay and out to sea. Lovely hosts. Close to good restaurants and local walks as well as the huge Regional Shakespeare Park. We certainly recommend this as a place to stay.

Stunning location

We had a fantastic stay at Ed and Sue's it was the perfect spot to get over jet lag and relax before continuing our visit to NZ. Very well maintained and clean, stunning views and access to the beach. Ed and Sue were fantastic hosts very helpful and available to answer any questions.

Fabulous!!!!

We can not say enough great things about the hosts and the house! The pictures are accurate but even better in person! Super clean, comfortable beds, kitchen well appointed, and huge deck to grill and enjoy the beautiful NZ sunsets. Walk to the beach, or cafes in Manly Beach. If we are lucky enough to come back to this amazing country we will stay here! Thanks for everything!

Excellent hosts. Nice location with fantastic vjiews.

Ed and Sue are very friendly and accommodating hosts. Their house is spacious and well furnished. The views from the deck and windows around are fantastic. There is ample parking. The immediate surroundings are quite hilly, needs some energy to walk to and from the nearby beach. Due to a delay checking out from the Covid isolation facilities the family could not occupy the rental property on March 07 as booked but one day later, on March 08. We have requested a one day refund from the rental cost which has so far not been remitted.

Amazing stay

From the first time we met Sue, she ensured we felt right at home. Much to her warm personality you could feel the warmth around the house. One of us became quite I'll and had to go to the hospital. Sue and ed really stepped in with genuine concern to see how they could help. If there was a 6 star I would tick that box. I will be staying here again. Sue and ed live downstairs. Trust me it's not a deterrent at all as you dont see or here from them unless you need it. Thank you so much for being such amazing hosts and making our stay so comfortable.

Great location, super well appointed. Perfect for families with small children.

Ed and Sue were lovely hosts. Had everything we needed and much more. Would be a great place for an extended stay. Easy walk to Manly Beach. Would have loved screens on the windows (the mosquitoes love me) but they don't seem to be commonplace in NZ.

Beautiful house by near the beach Beach

We stayed here with our two boys over a long weekend. The property was immaculately presented and everything functioned as you would expect. Sue and Ed (the owners) were great and had some great ideas for activities for kids and us to do. Property is a few minutes walk to Manly beach which I always enjoy walking along. Although there were only 4 of us this property could have easily housed another family and then a few more.

Spacious, light filled home with beautiful views

We stayed over the New Years period 2018/2019. There were 6 adults, a preschooler and a baby and the house was big enough to accommodate all of us. All the necessary equipment needed to sleep, seat and feed the number of guests was present with each room decorated with creative flair. Loved all the home made knitted blankets, making the house feel friendly and welcoming. The master bedroom is great for families as had the main double bed, a little nook with a single for our preschooler and more than enough space for the portacot (which they provided). Only thing to note is the master bedroom is quite light still in summer so consider bringing blackout for the portocot if your little one struggles to sleep in lighter rooms. Alternatively situate portacot in the very big and darker walk in wardrobe which is also in the master bedroom. Ed and Sue live downstairs and are great hosts leaving you to enjoy your holiday but present if anything is required. Very enjoyable stay by all and our preschooler keeps asking to go back to the holiday house!
