ome stay at "Seaside Stenton", a classic Ocean City cottage.
Perfect location with great amenities and shops within a SHORT walk:

- Beach (5 minutes) - serviced by rest rooms!
- Boardwalk (6 minutes to northern end)
- Browns eatery (7 minutes) - breakfast, lunch, and *famous* hot doughnuts
- Fourth Street Cafe - renowned coffee and breakfast (9 minutes)
- Pizza/Subs, Ice Cream, and Corner Deli (3 minutes)
- Pessano's beach gear (7 minutes)

The space
This classic, one-story cottage includes a living/dining room space, small kitchen, three cozy bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a furnished porch. Two additional storage rooms have cots available.

Bedroom 2: Bunk bed / kids room, sleeps 2
Bedroom 3: Queen bed, sleeps 2
Extra room: two portable cots, ideal for children

Cleanliness 5/5! The inside was squeaky clean! However, I do have to agree with what other reviewers have said about the outside of the property. In addition to the landscaping looking overgrown and unkept, the outside shower is completely unusable. There is no roof and to get to it I had to walk past a weed taller than myself. Having said that, there is a hose in the patio area, and we just rinsed our selves off using that. We stayed in September and had no issues with the air conditioners keeping up. Owner communication is not great, however, when he did finally get back to me with check in and stay details, he was apologetic, and it seemed like there was a technical glitch? The screened in porch/coffee area is a nice bonus space. Overall it was a clean place to lay our heads, but nothing special.

Average Stay. Needs Some Help.

The bikes did not work. Only one adult bike.Could not use. Landscaping becoming overgrown. One of the least appealing spots on the street. Steps were difficult for my handicap mother. Screen door did not fully open. Towels were used for curtains. Air Conditioners used saved us smell of mold. Can only imagine the air filters. Not much place to sit in family room. Good patio and Beach equip

An ok price but property was not in great shape. 2nd bathroom shower is unusable. Outside shower has balconies /windows looking down on it. Mattresses were really old and uncomfortable. AC was ok but barely pleasant temp at night. Pro, a good location. Minimal comms and direction for how to use anything, just a code to get in. Smells a little off and old too. But you are at the beach and that is nice. Just know the house is super old and dated inside and out.

Great stay!

Exactly what our family needed in terms of location, accommodations and cost. Old school OC cottage with friendly host and quiet street. Great front porch and side yard for hanging out. Walk to the beach or ice cream or dinner. Longer walk or short drive to the bustle of the boardwalk. Great memories with the kids. Definitely would do it again.
