We stayed at this hotel recently and while the location is excellent—within walking distance of major attractions—the overall experience was underwhelming.
We were told the hotel was fully booked when we asked about a room upgrade, but later found upgraded rooms still available online. Only after raising this were any alternative perks offered, which left us feeling misled.
Many amenities that appear included come at a steep cost. Pool seating requires a €25 per person fee, rooftop dining with a view starts at a €50–€70 minimum spend per person, and live shows are open to the public—meaning guests must compete for reservations. There’s also no comfortable lounge area for guests to relax at night unless you're paying to dine or sit.
In short, the hotel looks great in photos, but most of the appealing features come at an added cost and don’t prioritize actual hotel guests. Overall, the stay felt more transactional than hospitable.
