Derived from the Greek words 'Petrina Alonia,' which elegantly translates to 'stone threshing floors,' this area once resonated with the rhythmic pulse of grain threshing, long before the touch of urban sophistication graced its soil.



Beyond its storied threshing floors, Petralona wore another moniker with pride - Katsikadika. A tribute to the goat herders who roamed its terrains, they were more than just keepers; they were the heart of community life, generously offering fresh milk to its inhabitants, weaving tales of camaraderie.



Our residence is majestically poised in what many affectionately refer to as 'Ano Petralona' or 'Upper Petralona.'
