"So i suppose the price for a night isnt bad, but when youre expecting a whole apartment aslisted and there are others there, its not so great. Stood outside door for 20mins. Not easy to get key via access code( no email before) 2 towels for 3 people, 1 was damp, 1 had a brown 'stain' on it. Bedding old and worn. Headboards dubiously stained!!!!"

"good location, excellent easy parking in the free car park literally 50 yards away. close to town and nearby coffee shop and fish n chip shop. - all in all a good location for exploring the Peak District - everything is kind of 10 miles or 20 minutes way in nice country roads. Very handy Tesco superstor 5 mins walk or 2 mins drive "

"We had spotted this cottage on previous walks on visits to the area and wanted to try it. Very well appointed and comfortable cottage in a lovely area. We will definitely come again. One minor suggestion would be that property gets a larger frying pan as the one provided is quite small (or you could take one along with you!) "

"Thank you again for providing such a fantastic base for our holiday. Curlew Cottage was equipped with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the en-suite was a bonus. The location was stunning with a wonderful view to enjoy from the lovely garden. Betty the Cockapoo had a great time, getting to know the other animals, though I think she might have been disappointed that Jack, the sheep, wouldn't chase her. She enjoyed meeting them all. We definitely plan to return hopefully...

"Receptionist rudeness -unpleasant jokes. The apartment look lake it haven’t been cleaned. We had to wait 2 hours before we have been offered an other apartment. "

"The accomodation was not as advertised. It was so bad we had to book alternative accomodation elsewhere. So far we have no way of seeking a refund, so we do not recommend Hotels.com to anyone ever! "

"We stayed here for a halfterm trip to Alton towers due to it being only 15 mins away. Beautiful cottage, beautiful views. Lots of sheep. Only downfall was no phone signal but wifi provided and as we were only really there morning and evening it didnt really matter. Was nice to have a break from it all and to sit and chill. "

"New Mills is not a spa town like Buxton but it has an interesting industrial heritage. It is a great centre for local walks and for accessing Kinder Scout and the likes of Mam Tor. There is a good train service to Edale & Hope which can give some flexibility in planning walks. We couldn't fault the property, it is well equipped and comfortably furnished. "

"Really happy with our stay in Furness Vale.The communication and information from Andy was great.Short drive to most of the peaks and Buxton.The walk along the canal path to New Mills was very pleasant.The cottage was very homely and comfortable and a great place to head back to after a long day walking.Definitely stay there again. "

"Absolutely amazing property in a safe nice neighborhood. Was in the perfect location to see the Christmas markets, visiting Old Trafford and to visit the Trafford Centre. Would stay here if visiting Manchester/Didsbury again"

"Het verblijf was zeer aangenaam! Het huisje was schoon, van alle gemakken voorzien en een fijn plek om ‘thuis’ te komen na een lange dag in een schitterende omgeving. De meer dan vriendelijke host (Inez) kwam met een hele lijst aan activiteiten en in het huisje is er veel documentatie te vinden over de omgeving. Een aanrader, wij hebben er een leuke tijd gehad!"
