"What a great place! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary this weekend with some hiking and kayaking. "Room was very clean and tidy. It is only a mile or 2 outside of Bayfield. The units are private in the woods but are close to the highway so you do hear a light bit of traffic. There is a fan in the room and we travel with a sleep noise maker so was not an issue. Price is reasonable for the area and I would stay hear again."

"This multi-level house/cabin works well for family and friends to gather on the island. Lots of room inside and outside for potluck dinners and game nights. The basement 2br apartment was especially nice for our son's family with a toddler. The kitchen is well equipped and has excellent appliances. Claire was a great host and responded immediately to all questions. There is excellent storage and lots of refrigerator and freezer space for your island stay, "

"we had a really lovely time on Madeline Island. The house was just what we needed - modest, but with all the necessary amenities to cook a meal, relax and enjoy the water. The access across the road was easy and convenient. The kayaks were awesome! We had an early snag where the property had not been fully cleaned from the previous guests but Alan was on it immediately and offered compensation for the hassle which was much appreciated! Highly recommend!"

"It's a wonderful little cabin with all you'd ever need. Make sure to take advantage of the private beach, which is just a short drive away. just an FYI it is located next to 13 so there is quite a bit of traffic noise, this didn't bother me, but it was some.Added bonus, there was an apple tree for picking. All in all a wonderful day and I would highly recommend."

"The condo is large and very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. It is right downtown and walkable to restaurants and shops and 1 block to the ferry terminal. We were a party of 3 friends so we each had our own bedroom. One on the main floor and 2 upstairs. The only minor downside is the street noise as it's on one of the main streets in Bayfield."

"Private beach was excellent. We had such a good time playing in the water. Housing was comfortable. Kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with what we needed. Problem was finding the place. The address cannot be seen from the road because covered in vegetation. Also the communication with owner and with Vrbo was frustrating and for the most part nonexistent. We had such a great time that the problems now seem insignificant. "
