Delightful property with wonderful views

We enjoyed a wonderful restful stay at Acorn Barn. The hosts were very helpful and available if needed. A very comfortable property in peaceful surroundings with wonderful views. Would love to return

A peaceful break

We had a week of beautiful scenery and lovely walks. Acorn barn is a great way to wind down and relax. The owner greeted us and made us feel very welcome and even had a bed for our dog. There are a few nice pubs for lunch nearby - The Farriers Arms is recommended and The Woolpack. We would definitely come back!

Lovely, quiet property

A lovely, well renovated barn in a beautiful location. It was so quiet and peaceful and was well designed with exposed beams. It was nice to be able to sit out on the deck in the evening. A well equipped kitchen and even treats for our dog. The owner checked in on us shortly after arrival to make sure we'd settled in. We've already recommend it to friends and family.

The perfect little spot to escape from the city

We spent 2 nights at Acorn Barn and wished we'd booked an extra night or 2! The location and views are perfection and we instantly felt relaxed and at home. As a last minute escape from the city during a hot spell it was everything we hoped for and more! Just a couple of thoughts - being in a rural location, regular sweeps for cobwebs (which we know can return quickly!) would be good as nobody likes spiders :) and a small pot for toothbrushes would be handy! We'll definitely be back! Thank you
