Just an OK stay

The house itself was OK-didn’t quite live up to the pictures in the listing.Problems that stuck out to us:-Not a neighborhood feel. Steep road and houses on top of each other.-Cleanliness was decent but men’s work gloves were left on the counter along with toilet paper on one of the bathroom floors at check in. Things in the house felt used and neglected-rusty shower curtain rod/broken light switch and reciprocal covers/unsafe chair on porch (almost collapsed/gutters were overflowing. For the nightly price of the home we were excepting something a bit more well maintained.

Great Stay!

The house was lovely and very nicely stocked with the essentials and they even left a bottle of wine and some snacks. Bedding and towels were great quality. Made us literally feel like we were staying with friends. This is not a good choice for people with babies or small children.

Wonderful stay for a moms getaway

The place was lovely and well-appointed. The hot tub was fabulous. The beds were comfortable We rested, snacked, walked around Asheville, ate great food, and returned to this wonderful place. It would be great for a family too! I highly recommend it.

Amazing location and property!

We had a great time! The property was clean and centrally located to everything Asheville has to offer. The owners were so easy to communicate with and helpful with home details! We were able to check in early with a stand by option and they were so quick to reply to any questions. 10/10!!

Great location, cute house

Our family of 4 stayed here for a quick weekend get-away. The house is close to town and has great views from the front. It overlooks a river and the Biltmore Estate grounds beyond. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. We were able to hike, enjoy the pinball museum/arcade, the breweries, and the Biltmore in 48 hours. Plus a hot tub dip while snowing!

Beautiful townhouse

Beautiful townhouse, with views of river. Very clean, nice furnishings.very convenient to lots of things. I would enjoy it more in warmer weather due to closeness to river. My only suggestion would be needs measuring spoons and some pot holders. But overall a beautiful home.

Adorable Asheville House

Loved this property. It has a beautiful view of the water and mountains. Very clean. Great amenities including kitchen, hot tub. A lot of space. We were able to relax and easily travel into the downtown area. It was a wonderful getaway.

Great Location

Our week long stay in Asheville was great for our family of five.The house is in an ideal location to all things Asheville for example-5 minute drive to River Arts District, 10 min drive to downtown Asheville. We used the park and trail right across the street everyday for walks/runs. It's great! The house was clean and well stocked. Easy check in/check out. There is some road noise out on the decks but otherwise it is a great place to stay.

Fabulous vacation home

We loved staying at Upstream Cottage. The location, amenities, and layout were all great for our 2 adult couples. Checkin and checkout were easy, and the staff at Yonder were very supportive. The only reason we gave a 4 instead of 5 stars on cleanliness is that there were ants in the kitchen. Otherwise, everything was 5 stars!!

Proximity, Family, and Fun

Upstream Cottage was a wonderful place for my family of 6 which included 3 young adults. House was very well stocked with basics-- more than any other home I have ever stayed in. Beautiful park right across the street we used daily and most restaurants and things to do within 10-15 minutes. Coffee shop and breakfast bistro within walking distance as is tubing although we used a different company. Small issue with clay run off in driveway that was difficult to not track in the house. Overall, highly recommend. Hidden gem is the Wedge Brewery and artists shops/lofts directly behind Pleb Winery which is extremely close.
