"The Balmoral is a beautiful hotel! Its location is perfect since it’s close to all major attractions. The staff are accommodating and helpful. I’ve stayed in two different rooms and both were lovely and had great views. The restaurant is very good and the high tea in the Palm Court is superb!"

"The location was super convenient and close to the tram stop. The front desk was very friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The option to have a mini kitchen was great for our stay. "Lovely restored house in a neighborhood (more like a B&B). There is a bus that runs into Edinburgh proper or you can take the mile walk. The hotel gives very good recommendations for local dining. Parking can be difficult (limited on-street parking for non-residents). No eating in the rooms."

"Overall the property was good but some things to note. 1. Hot water wasn’t working when we arrived. They had someone over within 2 hours to check it, and did end up fixing it within about 4 hours, it was frustrating after a long travel day. 2. The mattress was not very good and the bedding looked run down. 3.
