"This was a very special stay for us. My wife and I were traveling with my Brother and his wife for a vacation. We only spent (1) night there due to budget constrains, but it was well worth it. My wife and sister-in-law really enjoyed “High Tea” the next day and my brother and I explored the area and had a great luck at an Irish Pub nearby. The location is great. "Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a good size and have air conditioning. If you’re staying here, it’s best to come out of the main door by reception and walk to Government Street to go downtown rather than going down Douglas. Sports bar onsite and complementary tea and fruit offered for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again! "

"I wanted a hotel with a great indoor pool ..convenient& walkable to harbour..yet away from crowds ..i was on the 2nd floor ..great for access to outdoor space patio, pool, workout room..lovely touch is fruit bowl in the workout room… rooms are huge with large windows…even one opens….all in all i’d stay here again AND same floor ….felt so homey…"

Die Einrichtung ist super kreativ und erinnert mit ihrem Retro-Charme an Scooby Doo – überall findet man liebevoll gestaltete Details, vom Comic-Heft im Zimmer bis hin zur detaillierten Beschreibung der Inhaltsstoffe im Shampoo. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders praktisch: Man kann kostenlos Fahrräder ausleihen und es gibt eine Laundry. "Amazing location, close to everything and walkable. Lots of old world charm and very nice staff. Don't book this place if you don't want to adhere to their dress code -- they make it very clear, and it's part of the charm. The breakfasts and dinner we had at the restaurant were even better than expected. Some of the rooms have been redone, and so have not, so there is a variety of quality there.
