"The Kings Arms Hotel is located in a small village called Kyleakin just over the bridge when you arrive to the Isle of Skye. We stayed here because it was significantly cheaper than staying in Portree. Travelling by car, we spent a few days hiking around the island and actually enjoyed staying a bit more remotely. It made commuting to our hikes more timely, but we felt like we got to experience more of the island this way. The town is cozy with a few pubs to eat - basic food but fun, rural...

"What a lovely gem to luck into : close to the isle 0f Skye ( just over the bridge ) but well placed , quiet and proudly Scots ( great tartan i go in the corridor walls ). We hopped over the bridge for a meal then relaxed in the super clean rooms . There’s a great guest sitting room with lots of squishy sofas but we were too tired to enjoy . However , huge five stars to the breakfast ; ‘ full Scottish ‘ plus great tasting fruit salad and selection of breads , cereals etc Would absolutely...

"Thia hotel was really nice. In a very quiet area in Isle of skie. I loved the landacape, the old building and how they repserved everything. It is true it doesn't have elevator but it is not a reason to discredit all the plus and how comfortable they made us feel. Breakfast was really good and service exceptional. "

"Loved staying in the wonderfully appointed cabin, it had everything you could need for basic meal cooking. The shower as terrific, as was the bed. The cabin was very clean. This was one of our favorite places to stay on our 2+ week long Scotland trip. The views from the cabin were especially nice too."
