not fancy but okay for a night stay

This is an older motel that hasn't been updated but it provided for everything necessary. Not really a breakfast but a packaged muffin or something was available. The beds were comfortable and it was clean.

What a dump! The floor squeaked at every step, pillow case and sheet soiled, the furniture worn out, bathroom towel racks broken/missing. The “included breakfast from 6-9am” was cleared at 7:45. Staff nowhere to be found.

Rodeway Inn front desk staff was very kind. I thought the AC vent could use a repair. Needs some spot cleaning with a Mr. Clean magic eraser. And I found two live baby spiders and one dead one in my bathtub. That is the reason for the cleanliness rating.

My paid reservation was for two beds; however, when I arrived, I was charged an additional $15 for the second bed. Very frustrated and disappointed.

Not worth the money

When we arrived we waited 25mins in a hot office waiting for someone to show up so we could check in, then once we got our room it was not clean and was not what we reserved. The room had mold in the bathroom and the shower drain was clogged. The door to our room didn't seal all the way so when it got windy our room got very cold at night. overall it was a horrible stay and would not recommend, i would rather stay in the town 30mins east to have a better hotel.

I rented 2 separate rooms. One was ok, but the bathroom was disgusting, there was dirt in the corners of the bathtub and the window has not been cleaned and had dirt on the window ledge and dead bugs. the other room was the worst- the room smelled like rotten fish, the AC would not cool the room down, and one of the queen beds covers had stains on it. However the worst part was, is the rooms are not secure. There is no deadbolts and the keycard locks you can open without the key to your room (by swiping between the door and frame the lock will give way and open). I felt so unsafe in the room, I ended up sleeping in my car.

First of all, let me start by saying that it was not the receptionist's fault. She was a nice older lady, who was trying her hardest to keep on top of things. Rather, it is the way Rodeway Inn is managed- especially in keeping records of your guests. When we first arrived, I was given the key to a room that has already been occupied. I walked into a pile of clothes on an unmade bed, some food on the table, a scattered floor while the TV was still on. Realizing I had almost accidentally walked into someone's privacy, I quickly turned around and closed the door behind. The second time, the receptionist gave me the key to a room that was not what I had paid for. While we finally settled down the third time around, the bathroom was a mess. Things were peeling off inside the bathtub, on the wall, and the lamps in the room look like someone had used it in a fight. Also, the bathroom light is so dim that it looks like some kind of horror house since there's hardly any light in there. I realize that this is, after all, just a 2 star motel in a small rural town, and we had only stayed there one night, yet it could still use some upgrading. Other than that, it is quite convenient since it is just right off Highway 84. The area looks quite safe. Like I said, I do not blame the receptionist since she had provided A customer service overall... However, Rodeway Inn used to be quite above average elsewhere. Whatever happened to you here?

I arrived and while waiting to check in there was another tenant that was having a hard time and bad expereince with the office. I ignored that for my experience as every situation is different the first day was fine the room was clean we had towels nothing to complain about. My three year old toddler daughter had a accident that evening while sleeping that I woke up to the next morning. I cleaned up the mess and piled all the blankets and sheets to be courteous to the cleaning lady. I then went to the office about 8am and let them know my daughter had an accident and I will need room service and that I already piles up the soiled bedding to be helpful. He said ok thank you and that room service will be there shortly. I left for the rodeo. I went back at 9pm and room service never came. I went to the office and let them know and they said that because I wasn’t present in my room at the time of service I couldn’t have service so I asked for new bedding he gave me sheets only when I asked for blankets he said no he followed me to my room and took my soiled bedding from me. Luckily I brought a few of my own blankets as well so I made due with just fresh sheets. Sunday went by I left my room about 930am for the rodeo and came back around 9pm. The office called me to come down. They told me that I have to pay for the “damaged” bedding and tried to tell me I put mud all over their bedding which is not true. There’s much more to say…..

Felt unsafe and very unclean.

The room was pretty dirty. The walls were stained and the floors had stains as well. There were flies all over the place in the room and bathroom. Room was open to the road which seemed a little uneasy/unsafe and the deadbolt was removed and only had a chain on it.
