"This is a very good hotel. The first night I stayed at another hotel and it was terrible from A to Z. I found this one, prices were great. For $10 more it was 100X better, clean. Felt safer. Staff was polite and inviting. It felt like i had a mini apartment whuch made my stay so much more worth it. I would def come back. "

"Clean rooms. Breakfast and coffee weren’t that great. I did not like the room setup. The bathrooms was located right in front of the beds which I found weird. Anytime someone would use the bathroom The bright lights would go through the glass bathroom door and wake everyone up. The bathrooms needs a fan. It’s not bad place but it is strange. "

"Despite the lobby and ground floor being renovated, the rest of the hotel was nicely, updated, including the rooms and lounge area for breakfast. The complementary breakfast was excellent, especially on the weekend. And despite a holiday, there was plenty of staff and their service was attentive and friendly. The hotel location in the middle of downtown is excellent providing lots of food, bars, and shopping nearby. There is also plenty of entertainment in downtown. This is a great old hotel...

Before arriving we were called and told that they had to move our room to the carriage house due to a septic issue with the main manor. The carriage house is a smaller building on the property. Upon arriving it felt a bit run down overall. We entered our room on the second floor of the carriage house. It was small but quaint and what we needed. "The room was great and there are many shops and restaurants around. The breakfast is very basic and they kept running out of boiled eggs (the only type of eggs available) and not replenishing them. It’s a good hotel for a couple of nights, overall."
