It has an obvious neglected, under maintained look and feeling. Room one was very clean with a very comfortable king-sized bed and the shower had great water pressure. "Unique and gorgeous hotel in the Irish coast to stay at before catching a ferry to Ireland. We arrived late, so give yourself enough time to have dinner and enjoy the morning. If you’re catching the P&O ferry at 8 AM, you probably need to leave at 6 AM to properly get in the queue, so plan accordingly. It’s a once in a lifetime experience though!"

"We liked how clean and fresh this property was. We found it very comfortable. Milk, teabags, coffee, wheaten bread, butter, cheese, oil and spices were all provided, as well as fresh flowers. There was an abundance of local animals to enjoy watching: horses, cows, sheep and housemartins. The pool table in the sun room was a welcome addition. All the bedrooms were spacious with excellent quality bedding. The downstairs master suite was particularly attractive. We would love to return! "
