"Tara View Apartments is a peaceful, beautiful property. The staff are helpful and congenial. The accommodations are shockingly good for such an economic option. Public transit and taxis are hard to come by, so car hire is recommended. That provided, there couldnt be a better place to stay in County Meath unless one absolutely must be able to get to the city by foot or bus."

"My partner and I had a lovely short stay in one of Caroline’s cottages. Any questions we had, Caroline was always happy to help and also gave us some lovely restaurant recommendations! The cottage was clean, spacious and cosy with everything we needed and the beds were really comfy!Thank you Caroline! Would definitely stay here again "

"Our third year at The Pilot Station and once again, it was a wonderful holiday.With the best views for sunrise and sunsets (particularly the sunset), The Pilot Station is a great place to set up base and explore the stunning area; we had a truly relaxing and enjoyable two weeks. The scenery is spectacular and the people are very friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of restaurants in the area for brunches, lunches and evening meals, (in no particular order, but would recommend all of them);...

"Great location, quiet with easy access for day trips to Dublin or Belfast and surrounding areas. Warm, comfortable, spacious cottage for our family of 5 (3 teenagers) walking distance to local bar, clogherhead and coastal towns only a short drive away. "

"This was the perfect accommodation for a 3 generation family. The welcome basket was a good example of the thoughtful management. We also chose to have a home cooked meal provided on our first night of arrival which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel."

"Probably our most memorable stay. The house is amazing with its antique furniture and artwork. The view from our bedroom window was of Newgrange and the surrounding area. What beauty! Walking the grounds was a lovely experience in itself. It was a comfort that the host was nearby and came immediately when there was the slightest issue. A truly lovely woman with so much wonderful information to share! We would love to go back! "

"This property is a great country retreat. Ducks come visit you in the morning, the tire swing is so much fun, and views of the river and landscape are breathtaking. The owner is friendly and very accommodating. The property is only a handful of minutes away from Newgrange, Funtasia, Emerald Park, and Drogheda. It's so handy to have a full kitchen and washing machine."

"We absolutely loved the cottages! We ordered a dinner on the night of our arrival and it was delicious. Our communication with Paula was superb. She answered all our questions. The resident cat was so adorable and my sister loved her visits!! We loved the fireplace as our 83 dad was always cold! The shower was hard to maintain the temp, however we would recommend your beautiful cottages to everyone and would stay again!!"

"The cottage and the gardens were absolutely perfect. We were a group of 4 generations, my 91 year old mother, my daughter and 13 year old granddaughter. The cottage has the perfect amount of room. From the well equipped kitchen, large relaxing livingroom and comfortable beds. And Liz's gardens are unbelievablely gorgeous I can't say enough about this cottage, the property and the kindness of Roger and Liz. I hope to return someday."
