Cons: there is no lift, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs; the nearest neighborhood does not feel safe in the late evening (I was warned about the main train station itself but it actually feels safe as it is well lit and there are carabinieri with long rifles standing outside)"

"They close the hotel doors at night without caring if there are guests outside—you have to knock on the glass to be let in. They should really install a doorbell. The staff isn’t very friendly. They come into your room to clean even when you’re still inside, and they don’t seem to care. Some employees are rude and give you unpleasant looks. In other types of hotels, at the very least, they greet guests politely with a “good morning” or “good evening.” Not here."
