"It was very noisy and not “soundproof” as listed on the advertisement. We could hear people coughing in the room below and a wedding party going on all night across the sea. Our baby was given a cot that had huge holes in it, she could have gotten seriously injured."

"The room was small and simple but as a one or two night stopover before catching the ferry it was perfect. Sophia was also fantastic. I could not speak more highly of her willingness to assist us. She was the perfect host. This port town also still has a family feel to it. Highly recommend."

The host offers rides around so that you do not have to wait for a taxi/when you cannot get one nand offers it at a great price less than that of the taxis. "We had the pleasure to stay at Angelina’s home and we immediately felt welcome from the host family! Both Lina, her husband Ilias and son Panos very all great making our stay very nice. Ilias prepared bikes for us so we could bike to the beach, Panos accommodated car for our transportation and Lina always made sure we had what we needed. "The most beautiful resort I have visited in my life and I am a 6-Star Girl! The grounds were immaculate, the staff was absolutely wonderful, and the food was "Foodie Grade" (I am an extreme foodie from Atlanta). We will definitely be back. The stand out staff I want to mention are Elvita, who works in the beach front restaurant, and Billy, the awesome pool lifeguard and exceptional fun provider over that part of the resort. Thanks for a beautiful stay!"

"Beautiful, modern, elegantly appointed property in a residential area. There is one resort close by on the beach, the Grand Lagonisi, where you can take advantage of their facilities and restaurants. The Aval Riviera boasts a lovely pool area, very nice and helpful host, professionally run. Only problem for me was the poorly-paved steep road to beach. A car is required to enjoy the area fully, to bring in food, as there are no stores or dining within easy walking distance. "
