"The cabin was great! The kids loved the bathtub with jets. It was perfectly located between our Johnston Shut ins and Elephant Rock adventures. The lake was not as accessible for swimming due to natural moss build up but we were able to go fishing. We will definitely return! "

"We have been here before. This is our second stay. We love the tin roof cabin. We call it the girl scout cabin because of the layout of the beds but we heard it used to be a nunery. Either way it is a spectacular property. We were traveling with all of our children and spouses. We love The Abbey Kitchen, Elephant Rocks, Johnsons Shut-Ins, and new this time we rafted with Parks Bluff. A great trip. Two things; the listing says toaster and we didn't see one. Also the air wasn't working...

"Great central location for exploring the state parks and landmarks around. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved having some yard to run around in as well. "

"overall we had a great stay. everything was as expected. Justin was great to communicate with. The mattress on the murphy pull out bed on the wall was pretty stained so we did not feel comfortable using it. We brought a blow up air mattress so that saved us. They did have a blow up mattress there but it wouldn't hold air. we would go back if we planed another float trip to the black river. "

"My three old friends and I had a relaxing, peaceful weekend in this beautiful cabin in the woods. Only the sounds of nature accompanied us as we sat around the fire pit and reminisced. When we first arrived we found out from the owner they’d been made aware of the hot water heater not working as it should. They had maintenance come while we out for dinner, and by the time we got back, everything was fixed and the hot water was fine. It was truly impressive with how swiftly they took care of the...

"The was my second stay at this cabin, and it was amazing both times. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and we had no issues whatsoever during our stay. Highly recommend this cabin if you want privacy and to be about as close as possible to the river."
