Amazing home in Haderslev

Already on the ferry to Aarø you get into the vacation mood. Even though the crossing takes only 7 minutes, you notice that you are on your way to a piece of paradise. The cottage is also a real pearl with its panoramic view of Aarø harbor and the Little Belt. The terraced house on two floors houses a well-equipped country-style kitchen on the first floor. A wood-burning stove and the heat pump provide the heating. You can sleep in the bedroom or in the alcove, both with double beds. Two bathrooms. The small garden in front of the living area is enclosed and private. A reversible staircase leads to the upper floor, where there is another living room with panoramic views and access to the roof terrace. This floor also houses the second bathroom of the house. On the island it is never far to the water and beautiful beaches, also there are few cars and no stress. You can shop in farm stores, among other places. A real experience promises a visit to the farm Brummers Gaard, you can enjoy a tasty steak from a Galloway cattle. At Brummers Gaard there are bicycles, sea kayaks, fishing net and handcart for rent. Aarø Vingård, a winery, has a good restaurant and serves its own wine. Wine tasting can be booked on site. The nature of the island is impressive, a large and untouched area is a bird sanctuary and very worth seeing. On the island also docks the ferry Helene, with which you can sail to Haderslev, 12 km away. Haderslev is a nice old town with specialty stores and museums. The ferry to the island of Aarø leaves once an hour, if there is a queue, then the ferry also leaves more often. Then you are on the island after a maximum of 15 minutes. The harbor area with fishing boats and sailing yachts has a special charm. If you like fishing, then you can clean and store your extensive catch well, because in the house there is a fish cleaning place and a large freezer.
