"Close to the beach & the airport Karteros Hotel is in a great location. It is also 20 mins by bus from the port. WiFi is good, the room is large with lots of plug ports & a good sized bathroom. Breakfast had a wide selection of fruit, salad, hot items, pastries, fruit juice, hot drinks & more. The pool is large but not heated so can be chilly. A lovely one night stay. "

"The reason we chose this hotel is because it claims “Self-parking included” on the Expedia booking site. During checkin, the receptionist, a gentleman, told us the onsite parking lot was full and we could park at Central park garage which is a couple of blocks away, the hotel would stamp the parking ticket and the cost would be paid by the hotel. "Terrible don’t stay here. Beds are as hard as a rock it’s loud till 2 am from a near by night club and planes flyover head all night long. Didn’t have breakfast as we had to check out early. Coffee machine had to be moved to plug in. Shower is extremely dark. Floors had a lot of water damage. I would not stay here again. "

"It was ok, we have stayed at the other two hotels, Stella Island and Stella Palace, and to be honest this is not on par with them. The food was very limited, not much choice and if you’re a fussy eater you might struggle. All the flowerbeds were overgrown and if you had a sunbed next to one there was a strong smell of cat urine. The drinks weren’t great, the soda had that off taste or dirty pipes and isnt branded. There were also cockroaches in our room that came from the toilet floor drain....
