"We didn't see a soul.
Check in was using a safe box to collect the key.
Check out was dropping the key into a safe box.
Room was clean and pleasant though and we had everything we needed."

"We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay."

"Cute little shepherds hut, very thoughtfully laid out so I had plenty of facilities, plus room under the bed to store own things so wasn’t tripping over my bags and the dog bed all the time.
Lovely Mountain View through the patio doors and window next to the bed.
Beautiful garden for the dog to sniff around after a tiring day climbing hills to the Fyrish Monument and running through the Dornoch Bay sand dunes.
The angle of the hut makes it feel like you’re completely alone, but with the...

"This stay was awesome! The property is so well maintained and beautifully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen. All the outlets are labelled which was a big help in turning things on/off.
Our hosts had many useful resources for us to look through to sightsee in the area - Inverness and Black Isle.
You will not be disappointed!!
