  • Disfrutarás de una escapada junto al lago en una casita de dos dormitorios situada en el precioso lago Angevine. La zona de salón, comedor y cocina, de concepto abierto y con un cálido acabado en madera, ofrece vistas al lago a través de los árboles. Un porche cubierto con barbacoa de gas te invita a cocinar al aire libre, y hay mucho espacio en la terraza que rodea la casita. En la orilla hay un cenador con mosquitera, rodeado de una gran terraza y un embarcadero con una escalera para que puedas bañarte fácilmente. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama de matrimonio y un pequeño vestidor. El segundo dormitorio es más grande y cuenta con dos literas (una cama individual arriba y una doble abajo). El baño tiene ducha y, en una pequeña antesala fuera del baño, hay una lavadora y secadora apiladas.
    La casita se encuentra en una parcela grande rodeada de una valla de árboles que garantiza la privacidad. Hay zonas tanto de sol como de sombra.
    Hay acceso directo al lago, donde la profundidad aumenta gradualmente. La profundidad del agua al final del embarcadero es de unos 3 pies y la temperatura es ideal para bañarse desde mediados de junio hasta septiembre. Mientras contemplas la puesta de sol desde el embarcadero, fíjate si pasan castores o colimbos.

I have no complaints about my stay at Angevine Lake. It was a lovely little cottage that had everything we needed. But the highlight by far was the beautiful lake waterfront! The dock and supplied canoe and kayak were great for accessing the lake! The lake was quiet and the property was private - it was perfect!Communication with the host was easy. Check in/out was effortless. Would definitely recommend and stay again!!

We really enjoyed our stay in the peaceful environment of the property. We paddled every day. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed. There was plenty of room for the two of us. The shower was great and we slept very well with the quiet surroundings. Mark was very helpful and always responded quickly to our questions.

A beautiful location and we'll equipped cabin that is exactly as described. Our family had an amazing time here, enjoying kayaking and canoeing on the lake and traveling to the great nearby beaches.

It was the perfect fall retreat. We enjoyed this pristine small cottage on a dreamy quiet lake. Extremely restful with all amenities in close proximity. We enjoyed walking at blue see beach just a short drive away and visiting with family in the area.Already planning our next visit!

It was a beautiful place. The lake was a nice spot for canoe or kayaking. Enjoying a coffee early morning.

Tucked Away Delight!

What a spot, and what a gem. Situated on a beautiful lake, close to all amenities, with everything you need on the property for a pleasant stay. Loads of exploring to do - check out the Pugwash Farmers' Market, the Peace Trail, Gulf Shore Beach! Worth a stay, for sure!

Lovely cottage right on the lake

Cottage was beautiful, clean and well stocked with everything one needs in a vacation property. Plenty of fish in this lake, we caught 24 bass in 4 days. Highly recommend!

Stay on Angevine Lake

We had an awesome time here. It was quiet and peaceful. One comment about the esthetics of the property: there is a line of trees that completely obscure the view of the lake from the cottage. If they were removed the view would be amazing.

Fall to remember!

Rented this lovely cottage in October. Cozy, clean, beautiful fall colours. Put a sweater on & drink a nice off hot tea/coffee & enjoy no noise & view of lake from deck!!

Family getaway

This was probably the best family summer vacation we have had. I grew up going to Angeline Lake, and was able to share those memories with my children and wife. Everyone had plenty of space to stretch out. The lake is the best entertainment there is. Cannon balls and canoeing were enjoyed by everyone. We will definitely be returning next year.

The great outdoors

Everything was just perfect, even better than expected. My son caught a lot of fish and they loved the kayaking. The house was fantastic. Loved the wood veneer. Really we could not find anything we didn't like. Definitely recommend to everyone, family and couples alike. Thank you very much for letting us stay there!

Calm and Quiet

The drive to the cottage was easy and really not too far from the airport. Check in and communication with the host was great. Once we arrived right away i felt comfortable and relaxed exactly how it should be out on a lake. Unfortunately we never got to experience the whole stay right there on the lake, but it was really nice to call it home at the end of every day because we traveled in every direction many kms experiencing everythjng atlantic canada had to offer us. The lake cottage was the perfect location to see it all! Big thank you for the host to offer a such a wonderful place for us to stay!

Angevine Is Fine

We stayed here 9 nights while waiting for our house renovations to be completed. Loved the property especially the dog who swam in the lake most of the day! Lots of beds, full kitchen, newer bathroom and the washer/dryer were truly a bonus. Mark was always available to answer questions which we appreciated. Really enjoyed the covered porch when it rained. Thank you!

Beautiful lake, quiet atmosphere

Our stay was stellar! Our 8 month old puppy learned to swim. The lake water is fresh and clear. The large front deck with big bbq, lakeside gazebo and dock make for a truly comfortable outdoor experience. Inside, the cottage is comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom is modern and has a washer & dryer! We extended our stay an extra day…would have loved an extra week!

Peace and quiet at the lake

We had a very good, peaceful stay in this cottage on Angevine Lake.Close to many areas of natural interest we explored in Nova Scotia. Our host was very responsive to any questions we had. The kitchen was very well stocked. I caught a fish off the dock!! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets on the dock. Perhaps owing to the rainfall levels this season there was some mustiness in the bedding - maybe increased laundering would be helpful. We would come again😊

Peaceful stay on Lake Angevine

The pictures of the cottage don't really do it justice. The kitchen/dining/living room area is spacious and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped, which was good because there is really nothing close by for restaurant options. We enjoyed sitting at the deck table. The only suggestion I would have to make is to thin out some of the smaller trees on the large lawn that slopes down to the water to afford a better view of the lake. We did not use the gazebo. While it is right on the water, it's a little bit hard to see out the windows as they could use a good cleaning. The house itself though was very clean and tidy. we rented the optional kayaks and enjoyed paddling around the lake. The lake is beautiful and very clean. Power boats are allowed on the lake which surprised me a little as it's not that big, and there are nesting loons, but fortunately we were there in September and there was only one boat and water skier on the lake on the weekend, and no one else the rest of the time. The Wi-Fi was fast and we utilized it to stream music from my phone to a portable speaker that I brought, so it was very pleasant in the evening to sit and chat or read in the very comfortable living room area. One of the must do things in the area is to go to the Jost winery. It's a beautiful winery, it's less than half an hour away, and they have a wonderful tasting room and dining room for lunch. The cottage is only an hour away from Burntcoat and the tidal bore, which is another outing I highly recommend.

Amazing summer get away

We enjoyed our week on this beautiful lake front property. The check in process was easy and communication with the owners was quick and efficient. We will definitely look to book this property next year for another family get away.
