"We had a wonderful stay at the Shandaken Inn - it really exceeded our expectations. The property is lovely and the inn is extremely well maintained and comfortable. Everything you need is right there. The outdoor dining area looks out to the open space and the surrounding mountains. "We liked the property and the room. Unfortunately the property restaurant was not open during our stay, would have liked to try it. There is no cell service in this area and the wifi was spotty. The nearest open restaurant was 30 minutes away. We saw a bear on the ride. There were pros and cons of this stay, but it was clean and comfortable and i would consider staying again"

"The property is really old and requires renovation. Bathroom has cracks all around and enamel in the bathtub is damaged. It was really difficult to get the hot water setting and water was luke warm. The flooring throughout is really old and mainly dirty. There was no door mat inside the apartment or any way really to keep the slushy dirt out. There were no paper towels inside the apartment.
