"There was a large party downstairs (floor below) on the Saturday night we stayed there. Music from DJ was very loud and pounding/felt in our room until after midnight preventing sleep. The Restaurant was unavailable due to the party. I wouldn’t recommend booking a room on this property when the downstairs facilities are booked in this way."

Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy. "After a long journey we were so pleased to stay at this B&B, we received a warm welcome, the building is beautiful with lovely views and our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. "My second stay at The Glen, friendly staff/owners. Different room this time round but really spacious, clean and with all you would need for a break away. Breakfast is still really good with a wide selection and freshly cooked. Ideal hotel for my needs being situated close to family and excellent for days out within the Borders and close to Tweedbank for the train to Edinburgh with free parking. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again."
