  • Una cabaña de campo privada escondida detrás de la carretera con césped abierto y áreas boscosas. Un retiro con diversión familiar sin fin; una piscina de agua salada, caminatas de 700 acres directamente detrás de la casa, un pozo de fuego, un porche delantero con mecedora, una malla en el porche trasero y columpios de árboles. Hay muchas cosas que hacer en la propiedad; nade en la gran piscina de agua salada, juegue frisbee en el césped grande y abierto, bádminton, agujero de maíz, o columpie, más un patio sombreado con un patio y ase la parrilla en el porche cubierto.

    Ubicado en Ancram, en el corazón del condado de Columbia, a 10 minutos de la Taconic Parkway. 15 minutos a Hudson, 30 minutos a Great Barrington: las dos ciudades "grandes" cerca de la casa y muchas ciudades pequeñas y encantadoras dentro de los 15 minutos o menos, como Hillsdale, Copake, Claverack, etc. Mercados cercanos para recoger productos locales, granjas para obtener pollo y cerdo frescos, recoger flores frescas, escalar cascadas o visitar museos de arte y parques de esculturas; una gran variedad de cosas para hacer y ver.     El interior de la casa es espacioso y limpio, con muebles rústicos modernos. En el primer piso se encuentra la cocina, el comedor y dos dormitorios y un baño completo anclado por la gran sala familiar con techos abovedados y un gran hogar de piedra como pieza central. En la planta superior, se encuentra un rincón de la biblioteca con un dormitorio principal y un baño completo.

    Hay wifi por satélite y punto de acceso para un depósito adicional. Perros considerados previa solicitud.

    Todos los alquileres un mínimo de 7 días. Si hay fechas que desea reservar pero no las encuentra disponibles, por favor solicítelas. Solo alquilamos la propiedad unas pocas semanas al verano y, una vez alquilada, retiramos el listado. Usamos esto como un retiro familiar durante el verano y los fines de semana y días festivos durante todo el año.

Lovely cabin on a lovely piece of land with a lovely pool and a lovely host

We spent 8 days in this very nice cabin which easily sleeps 8. The house is spotless, easy to care for, and very well appointed. Check in was a cinch, we were provided with all necessary information and then some. The grounds are beautiful and the pool, although chilly, was very nice as well.

What a FANTASTIC short vacation. The house was immaculate and well decorated. There was so much room in each room and plenty of place to just relax!!! The pool was great to find with a very short notice. I do have to admit, I thought not having a microwave was going to be difficult but WOW was it a nice change. People are in such a dang hurry all the time and to get away from something so simple and cook our entire meals was pleasant. They do taste better too. We experience great communication with Ellen and Danielle as we came right after a big storm and everything went very smoothly. Definitely pick this place if you are looking to relax and just unwind.

We loved our stay!

We spent 12 nights at the house and we absolutely loved it. The house was extremely clean and well maintained. Erica and Patrick have great taste and arranged the cabin in a way that just made sense - everything was organized and well placed. There were lots of toys for my kids to play with. My kids said it was their favorite house that we rented. The screened in porch was perfect for breakfast, the fire pit was clean and easy to use, and the pool was great. Erica and Patrick were extremely responsive and Erica emailed me a list of local restaurants, supermarkets, and activities ahead of our stay, which was very helpful. The property around the house is really nice - it is removed from the main road so it is is quiet and relaxing. We also loved exploring the area! Thanks so much for a great stay! We highly recommend the house and hope we get to rent it again soon!

Excellent stay in Columbia County

My family and I had a wonderful time at this incredible cabin in Ancram, NY. Its location is perfect - it has the feeling of being rural and off the grid but is close by tons of farms and fun attractions. The saltwater pool is fantastic and was a huge hit with my daughter who just learned how to swim. The cabin is modern, clean and has all the amenities you need. Our favorite feature was the screen porch out back where we spent most of our time. The hosts were gracious, kind and very easy to communicate with. I recommend staying here to anyone.

Greatness

Whenever my wife’s no filter grandmother came for a visit in NYC, she would make a list of “all the dumb things” about her hotel room, the hotel itself, etc. Her lists made us paranoid that she was always keeping a secret list about our place, but we also found them both funny and generally accurate, so in a kind of playful tribute to her we fell into making lists wherever we stayed. There’s no list for this house! All experienced vacationers know that true relaxation begins earlier and hits a deeper spot when you get a sense that your host has essentially thought of everything. My wife and I stayed here for a full two weeks; we thoroughly enjoyed not only the house and pool but also Erica and Patrick’s attention to detail and just generally their smart decisions about how to set up a vacation house. But readers please be good and don’t rent in mid July as that is our time.
