"We stayed recently for 2 nights as a family of 4 (2 adults, 1 child and 1 baby). The room was small but comfortable and had all the amenities we required. The breakfast was delicious with a great range of food choices. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Hotel location was good and easy to find. Plenty of parking spaces outside. "

"Lovely accommodation attached to a pub. Pub served a good selection of drinks and a decent menu for main meals or light bites. Breakfast was lovely, again with a decent selection. Staff were all lovely. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. "

"An excellent property in the beautiful countryside with gorgeous gardens obviously looked after by enthusiastic gardeners. 🌳🌹🪻🪷 The decor is fitting to this country mansion and the whole house is very clean, and my bedroom was exceptionally clean and well stocked with soap, shampoo etc. and my bed very comfortable giving me a good night’s sleep 💤 The food offers a wide range for everyone’s taste and the quality is far better than many city 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in! "A very pleasant stay - stayed for a couple of nights whilst working in the area. All staff were very pleasant. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet area with lots of scenic countryside around to see. Just be aware that the rooms are on the 3rd floor and there are only stairs for access, but that is to be expected with a listed building."

"I particularly liked that the stafff and customers of the Bridgehouse welcomed me. The place had the social feeling of what I think a good pub should be. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet too."

"Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. "Unfortunately I had eaten enroute so did not dine in the nicely furnished olde style pub which took orders until 20.30 but, despite my 20.20 arrival I was given opportunity to eat. The bed was very comfortable. An armchairxwas provided in addition to a chair."
