"Our cabin was new and updated, cozy. Also, cabin was clean and all amenities were there: laundry machine, dishwasher, utensils, TV's. Purchase your own woods, it will be cheaper. Nice place for getaway. "

"This is the perfect place to sit on the deck during the day or sit by the fire at night, we loved everything about this quaint little home! The stairs up and down were a bit of a challenge for my 81-year-old Mom, but she made the trip and the stairs like a champ! "Lovely stay at a thoughtfully nammed property. I appreciated staying in a private, unique rental instead of a hotel chain full of noisy kids. The Hickory and Bee property was a quiet, comfortable place to unwind. I never slept better away from home!"

"Chris and Chuck were excellent hosts. The property was ready for us and they provided great communication about arrival as well as a bunch of recommendations for the area. The house had everything we needed for us and our kids! We would definitely return. We had easy access to Mammoth Cave National Park which was the purpose of our trip. Highly recommend this house! "

"We had our 3 daughters and my parents with us for this trip and the house was so spacious I never felt like 7 of us were on top of each other. The neighborhood was full of really friendly people and we were reasonably close to all sorts of fun things. The grocery store was really easy to get to, there were a million dollar general stores nearby if we just needed something simple like a bag of ice, and despite the lake levels being higher than usual my girls loved playing in the water. "This property is beautiful, we all wished we could stay longer and just enjoy the deck and fire pit a little more. House is very clean. Beds were comfortable. Be aware the bunk beds are not in a room, they're under the stairs, so not a lot of privacy. There were 8 of us in the house and it was snug-I don't think having the 16 it says it can accommodate would be comfortable. The owner is extra communicative. The lock on the door took a hot minute to figure out but once we did we had no issues the...

"Beautiful clean house! We were super impressed with the layout, the amenities and the cleanliness. We really enjoyed our stay, very relaxing. My only disappointment was the view, it’s a nice view but the trees have matured and the view is not as good as I thought it would be. Of course this has nothing to do with the owners, it’s just nature. We would definitely rent again!"

"The property was a great place to stay. It is centrally located to Mammoth Caves, Bowling Green and historical sites. It is only about an hour north of Nashville, which made for easy visits. If you want to be comfortable and relax, this is the place to be. The deck provides a great place to unwind after taking a day trip to local attractions."

"Trip had to be refunded due to severe storm the night before arrival. Was able to partially access outside of the property before deciding to refund. Tree limbs blocked entrance to vrbo and driveway. Storm knocked power out for entirety of weekend. Very nice location. All communications with owner and VRBO refunding was quick and easy.. Will try to rebook in future. "
