"Cottage was everything we hoped for. Our own private beach, paddle boat, board and kayaks all in great condition.Beautiful lake. Nice campfire in the evening. Kitchen spacious. We had our 3 grandchildren. We all enjoyed the fishing, swimming and boating.Beautiful sunrise/sunsets.Only thing missing were outdoor lawn chairs. We had brought 2 but there were none there. "Beautiful location with beautiful sunsets on the lake. Place is extremely clean and host provided all the info for a great stay. Easy access to local sights yet quiet enough to enjoy nature and the beautiful sound of a loon on the lake.We were lucky to find this place and have such an enjoyable stay. "My wife and I had a very enjoyable 3-night experience at this tiny house/cottage. It's a couple minute drive from a small quiet beach on the Ottawa River and there are many good places to hike in the area. And to have fresh eggs from their chickens was great! "

"We had a flood in our BNB which we booked back in February. Thankfully this cottage was available to cover part of our stay. The kids enjoyed the location and we were so grateful for enough beds for everyone to stretch out at night (myself with 3 kids, one being a teenager)! The hosts and neighbours were welcoming and kind. Would happily return if we are in the area again. Definitely quiet and peaceful pace of life where you can relax. Gas BBQ was easy to use. "Absolutely gorgeous house and property with so much attention to details that really make the stay extra special! We had a great time and would love to return. Location is super convenient to the Burnstown beach and not far to calabogie. Super private with trees all around and stunning views from the upper level. Beds were amazingly comfortable, with lots of pillows and towels provided. Ping-pong table in the basement too!"

"This was the perfect place for us while visiting relatives in the area and only an hour drive from the Ottawa airport. After we arrived Brianna came to welcome us and provide some detail about the home. This is a beautiful property, impeccable decor and design with all the amenities plus more. The hot tub, fire pit and a glass of wine at the rivers edge were added touches of enjoyment. The S’mores were delicious, thank you Brianna."

"Four of us - 2 adults and 2 teens - spent a lovely, last minute trip March 13-15, 2025. The cabin did not disappoint. Nestled along the mighty Madawaska River and tucked down in the forest. We played cards, watched movies, and a sat on the awesome couch with a warm fire while enjoying the views. "We like the house, it was nice, clean, vast, and very comfy. All three rooms, the kitchen, the washroom, and the livingroom are very beautiful, the area too. We really recommend it to everyone and would like to come back next year if possible. The only thing that bothered us a bit was the air condition, it wasn't functioning correctly all the time. Other than that, everything was exellent."

"The trailer was older but fully functional. Heat and fans for temperature control. There was lots of space to park and set up tents, the kitchen sink and stove worked well and the bbq was very helpful. The space was very nice with trails, canoeing, and the full camping experience. Great private quiet spot in the valley! Thanks Josh and family! "
