"Comfortable, clean apartment if a little less spacious than anticipated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast a basic continental buffet. Walkable distance from train station even with big cases. On the edge of the old town near plenty of restaurants. Unfortunately the air con was not working while we were there. We did have a big fan that was too noisy to keep on while we slept and it was noisy outside with the window open. Hopefully it will be fixed soon."

"AVOID: Did not have hot water in the shower for several days. Spoke to the front desk four times (to Manon and Natasha); each time, they told me they were aware of the problem, that a technician had come, and that the problem was fixed. We stayed in Chamonix because my husband ran the UTMB marathon: when he finished the marathon, he had a cold shower and shivered for hours.
