The Peaceful Valley Lodge is a vacation rental cabin in the Colorado mountains just 12 miles from Breckenridge, CO. The home is extremely private and secluded. If you are searching for a luxurious Colorado mountain cabin for a family reunion, weekend getaway, romantic honeymoon or just a beautiful mountain vacation, the Peaceful Valley Lodge is perfect for you. **4WD/AWD required in winter/early spring to access cabin**
The lodge is privately owned by Marshea and Gavin Vitt. After searching for many years for the perfect mountain vacation retreat, they found the Peaceful Valley Lodge and fell in love with it immediately. The lodge is located on a secluded 2 acres wooded lot with spectacular mountain views. The home easily sleeps 6, is very well appointed with full kitchen, hot tub, wood burning fireplace, satellite TV and internet service, living and dining rooms, master suite with king size bed and private bath, rec room and much more. This charming round cabin is situated at nearly 11,000 feet where the air is crisp and clear, the views are spectacular and you can enjoy a true Colorado mountain experience.
At the Peaceful Valley Lodge mountain vacation cabin, you can relax amid a dense growth of pines, willows and aspens while contemplating the view of two of Colorado's highest mountains. Though you are only 12 miles from the international resort town of Breckenridge Colorado, you are hidden in a peaceful national forest and you can see no neighbors nor hear any traffic from your private haven. The only sound is the wind gently rustling through the trees.
The Peaceful Valley Lodge, built in 2001, is a beautifully furnished two story private mountain vacation cabin rental home that offers 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen and huge living, dining and rec rooms. Six huge picture windows wrap around the main living area and provide jaw dropping Colorado mountain views.

We absolutely loved this place, from the moment we arrived, it felt like home, the place had absolutely everything we could possibly need. The space is thoughtfully arranged, and incredibly comfortable, the kind of comfort that makes you settle in instantly and the views each morning were amazing!We lost power one night and thanks to the lantern and board games that we found, my family made the best of it.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a stay that’s both convenient and genuinely comfortable. It’s the kind of spot you look forward to returning to. Short distance from Breck and other beautiful spots! We are definitely going back :)

We had a great weekend getaway! The property is secluded and it was super comfy for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Marshea was very responsive to our questions. It snowed about a foot during our visit. Because of the tucked away location, the roads were not plowed until the day after the storm. A dependable AWD is a must during the winter season as there are windy, steep roads to the house. We enjoyed our time here and will be back again.

This property is a perfect getaway! The owners are super to work with, and they have thought of absolutely everything that you could possibly need while there! We loved it and would definitely recommend it! We struggled some with the altitude, but other than that, loved the location and attention to detail!

The property is in a secluded area but it's easily accessible. The reservoir is within a short walk and we saw more animals and birds than people, which is a plus for us! The lodge was clean and very well appointed. Although it was just the two of us and our pup, we could have easily accommodated many more comfortably. The host provided great instructions on facets of the lodge as well as contact information in the event something went wrong (which did not). I'd happily stay here again a s will share with family and friends as a place to find relaxation just a short drive from both Breck and Fairplay.

This home is in a beautiful setting overlooking a valley near Breckenridge and Alma. For our needs, the property location was an ideal balance of isolation and accessibility-- it's not in the middle of busy Breckenridge, but it's not too far from shops, restaurants, breweries, and bakeries. During our summer stay, it took about 10 minutes to travel to Alma (which has a few basic shops, cafes, and a bakery), and 20 minutes to get into Breckenridge. Our kids appreciated all the board games, puzzles, and toys that were available to keep them occupied during their down time. There are countless hiking opportunities in the area. The owner was attentive and communicated clearly with us before and after our arrival. The hot tub and grill were also popular features during our week-long stay. We hope to return again next summer!

High altitude solitude, without roughing it

Well-named as the "Peaceful Valley Lodge" with quiet views of stunning alpine valleys stretching out. Breck is nearby (20 min) though we found ourselves in Frisco & Dillon (45 minutes) more often. On site has all the amenities on site you'd expect in a mountain home promising "peace and quiet". A well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, two different living room areas in case the group sprawls, games, books and DVD movies and a hot tub and a propane grill. The view from the deck is amazing, with direct views of Mt Lincoln and Mt Bross, and up-the-valley views up Wheeler Trail. It took a few days to acclimate to sleeping at such high altitude, even for a family from Denver, so consider bringing your favorite sleep aids. This is a 5-star VRBO location for a family, perfectly set up for multi-generational family or either adult children or kids.Note: AT&T cell signal didn't reach the house, but did reach just down the road. We just walked 100 yards down the driveway to make calls or send/receive texts, which wasn't a problem in the summer. Satellite internet is reliable but slow. But we were here to unplug anyhow.

Perfect Getaway!

This was my Christmas present to my two teenage sons, since they did not need more stuff. Being from Texas, we do not get to see snow very often. We were NOT disappointed. The views were incredible, the snow was pure white and fluffy, and the accommodations were perfection. It was a great time to relax and make memories!
