Located on a hill close to Alghero just 2km from the centre, Villa Joie de Vivre offers all the ingredients for an unforgettable holiday in Sardinia.

Situated on the seashore with spectacular views this villa is the ideal place to live in harmony with nature and the sea below.

The only noise you will hear will be the lapping of the sea under the house which will lull you on cool summer evenings.

Villa Joie de Vivre is a large villa with large bright interiors, where the space seems to expand thanks to the reverberations of the pool water which are reflected on the walls.

The villa is divided into two floors, with on the ground floor the large living area with fireplace characterized by large windows overlooking the sea, American kitchen, bathroom with shower, laundry room, lounge and large windows with enchanting views of the sea .

On the upper floor there are three bedrooms, a double room with an additional single bed, a double room and a single room, for a total of 6 beds for adults and a cot for a newborn.

But certainly the most spectacular part of this property is the exterior, with the magnificent infinity pool overlooking the sea with a view that rests on the Mediterranean scrub. An enchanting vision capable of astonishing even the most restless souls.

In the large shaded gazebo overlooking the sea, furnished with outdoor furniture next to the barbecue, it will be the place you will remember when you return from holidays.

You will undoubtedly spend much of your holiday relaxing under the shade of the pergola, next to the large barbecue enjoying the magnificent view of the sea.

From the villa the sea is less than 150 meters away and can be reached via a path that leads through the Mediterranean scrub to the coast.

The stretch of sea below the house has the particularity of having flat white rocks, with the sea of a wonderful turquoise colour.

Certainly one of the most prestigious coasts of the entire Coral Riviera.

Property needs new refrigerator and no beach towels. Trash disposal place 45 minutes drive. Pool needed alternate day attention due to heat and algae buildup. Gorgeous setting and large pool. Hosts nice had fruit on hand when arrived , water and wine. Place needs updating.

We had a great time in Villa Alghero. The view from the house is amazing and the location is good – close to the city and a nice nearby beach. The terrace is fantastic with many good spots and the pool is large and very close to the house. The house is nice, but a little old and not very functional. The upstairs rooms are fine, but it is not ideal to stay more than one family. The aircondition is only upstairs and placed in the hall and not in the rooms. It is also old and noisy. When we arrived the water kettle, microwave oven and dishwasher did not work. The owners replaced the water kettle and microwave oven, but insisted that the dishwasher was working, even though it is very old, rusty inside and we can see that former guests have complained about it. We stayed for 26 days and for a long stay like that it is annoying to do dishes by the hand. All in all it is a nice place to stay, but compared to the price the owners should renew a lot of the equipment in the house.

Das Objekt hat eine tolle Lage. Man hat einen schönen Blick von der Terrasse aus und auch vom Inneren des Hauses auf das Meer aber: die Bilder die dem Inserat beigefügt sind stammen teilweise nicht vom Objekt und sind nachbearbeitet. Es gibt zwei Bilder die einen Überlaufpool zeigen. Einen solchen gibt es aber nicht. Auch die Inselgruppen die man im Hintergrund sieht finden sich im Original nicht. Das hätte der Anbieter nicht nötig. Auch verläuft über das Grundstück quasi durch die Szenerie ein Stromkabel. Nicht schlimm aber auf den Fotos wurde es herausretuschiert. Das enttäuscht dann vor Ort doch etwas. Die Straße, die in etwa 50 m vorbei führt ist doch recht deutlich hörbar. Das muss man wissen. Alles in allem aber nicht sonderlich störend. Das Haus selbst ist kleiner als gedacht. Wir waren zu dritt (Kind im Alter von fünf Jahren) dort. Dafür ist es ausreichend. Mit mehr Erwachsenen wird es schon mehr als eng. Die zwei weiteren Schlafzimmer sind eigentlich kleine dunkle Kabinen. Ansonsten ist es nett eingerichtet, auch wenn die Spülmaschine ihren Dienst nur noch mehr schlecht als recht tut. Eine Kaffeemaschine fehlte leider ganz. Wichtig ist noch zu wissen, dass man das Wasser nicht trinken kann. Es schmeckt fürchterlich. Die ersten Kaffees haben wir wegschütten müssen, bis wir auf die Idee gekommen sind, woran es liegt. Es stammt wohl aus großen Wassertanks. Wir haben uns deswegen mit gekauften Wasser geholfen. Zum duschen ist es aber natürlich völlig in Ordnung. Der Pool wurde zwar zwischendurch gechlort und der pH-Wert überprüft aber ansonsten wurde er nicht gereinigt. Es regnete einmal kräftig. Die Staubschicht fand sich dann auf dem Grund des Pools wieder. Erst nach unserer Abreise wurde ein Poolroboter eingesetzt. Es stimmt auch nicht ganz, dass zwischen den jeweiligen Vermietungen ein Tag Pause liegt. Wir sind um 10:00 Uhr raus. (Eigentlich fing die Putzfrau schon um 9:45 Uhr mit putzen an). Für 12:00 Uhr waren bereits die nächsten Gäste angekündigt… Zusammenfassend eine tolle Lage mit einem schönen Objekt, allerdings mit Abstrichen. Wäre die Schummellei mit den Bildern im Inserat nichts hätte es einen Stern mehr gegeben. Für den Preis kann man tatsächlich mehr erwarten.
