During the winter months, visit the seal pups at Donna Nook. The market town of Alford is a 10-minute drive, whilst the Georgian market town of Louth, which still has 3 markets a week, is about half an hour by car and is always worth a visit with its many shops, local butchers and very good selection of cafés and pubs. The beach is within 4 miles, shops, pubs and restaurant within 2 miles.
